Other than Christ, Muhammed, Buddah or such. I am speaking of ordinary everyday people. How did they accomplish this?
For me it was a 10 year old girl who died 23 years ago of Leukemia. She had the strongest faith in God I have ever witnessed.I think of her often as she taught me to love, live, die, and inspired me to be a nurse.

Islam, Judaism, and Christianity are mono-theistic religions. Compare and contrast each one's understanding of who God is. It would also be helpful to have them speak of who they preceive Jesus to be.

In what way are you different from the Neo-Nazis, KKK, and Al Quida? None of you have any room for people who don't think the same way you do and you both use lies and fear to promote your causes.

Matt 6:24-34
"No man can serve two masters ... Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
"Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the meat, and the body than raiment?
"Behold the fowls of the air; for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
"And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
"Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? ..."

I am leaving the LDS/Mormon church. I still belive in Jesus Christ and that I need to be part of a church (baptism, sacrament ect.) The problem is there are over 200 churches near me that all claim to follow Christ. Do I just choose one blindly? It would be very tedious to call every church and ask what they believe (they would probably want to meet with me) Many Christians say that as long as you follow Christ you are okay, so does that mean any church that follows Christ is okay? I was part of a Christian church before that taught going to any other church would lead you to hell (main reason I left) Are there Christian churches in unison? Every church should just be the church of christ. Anyone gone through anything similar? I'm on the edge and think being an athiest is a lot easier then decoding through all these churches. I just want to follow Christ.

Nothing against athiests, since my very close friend is one. But she's always like 'well, prove God is real'. And I may not have 'scientific proof' that he's there, but she can't exactly prove that he's NOT there. So, I dunno, maybe I'm just looking for opinions on it? (I really don't wanna start a debate or anything, so please, be civil about it) Thank you!

Believe it or not, you are serving one! There isn't any sitting on the fence!

No man can serve two masters;
for either he will hate the one, and love the other;
or else he will hold to one, and despise the other
Mathew 6:24

And if you don't believe in God you are not serving Him!

I know more than a few people who put themselves out there as intensely religious, spiritual people. Yet they have non-marital sex, babies out of wedlock, and cohabit with romantic partners. Are they breaking the rules, or am I misunderstanding some? I was raised to believe all religions prohibit sex outside marriage.

Those who call themselves "Christian": Do you parse the words of Jesus to find loopholes you can exploit?

the ignorant will never learn, you can try educating them, but they will NEVER learn, they are taught to be ignorant and nothing said can stop their ignorance, i recited even this to the ignorant, but they thought it was amusing so they did their In-Mature idiot laugh. one day we will banish ignorance.
this is said purely from my own experience.
please no haters, if you criticize me, you are an example of the ignorant.

Lowest crime rate, lowest murder rate and people leave their gold shops wide open while they go for prayer.

These two cities show the 1.5 billion Muslims that ISLAM is definately not the problem !

I've been browsing through the 'Religious &Spirituality' pages and I am surprised at how many athiests attack those who believe in (a) God. If you are so convinced that there is no 'God', then why get worked up about nothing...?

What a wonderful chance
To be here again.
To listen, to learn
To love and rejoice.
How I have missed
The friendship and love
And how I have yearned for your voice.
