A forum where the least informed theists spout off, constantly contradicting themselves while showing all of their venom, hypocrisy, and ignorance? One thousand Richard Dawkins could not cause so much damage to theism.

The verbal abuse that atheists give theists here and vice versa seems the same to me compared to what I've seen on message boards online since 1998.

There are more public voices for atheism lately with Dawkins and Harris, but I haven't noticed any change in direction coming from that.

So I don't think it's Y!A's fault. I think it's human nature whenever any side says so confidently and disparagingly, "I'm right, and you're an idiot."

Well, sure to some degree. Many think they must disprove theists in order to prove their selves.

And, of course, the name "atheist" basically means "anti-theist." And many wish to impose their views on others. Surely that can be seen in many of their actions in our country.
Many believe the US was meant to be godless, but by removing terms and conditions that apply to God, aren't they installing atheism as a religion? Their movement is mostly anti-Christian simply because Christians remain the largest percent of our population and so, to them, their biggest threat. Just a fact.

I dont think the polarization in here is due to anything yahoo does. I think that when unbelievers when are confronted with the truth they have 2 choices; learn more about it, or mock it.

I think people that become anti-Christ do so because of what is in their hearts and yahoo cant change that.

I'm not anti-theists. There is a difference between disagreeing with a person's beliefs and hating them.

No, the Christians are doing that themselves with there whiny childish jibes at us. They find it impossible to engage in an intelligent debate and choose instead to condemn us all to hell.

I don't really care one way or another. Just don't force your religion on me and we'll get along fine.
