For every religious question that deals with evolution, or the big bang theory , the atheist have a bogus answer like "we have alot of proof"., but they never give the proof. Its all a bunch of talk, but no action. Why dont you give me proof of your big bang thoery? Oh wait a minute....you dont have any proof!

Do you believe the concept of God having human features, emotions, desires, and even gender is true? Or is it the result of people trying to relate or "put God into terms we can understand"?

PLEASE don't bother answering this question if you are going to insult, preach, ignore the question, or don't have anything intelligent to say.

If god is all powerful, can he create a rock that he cannot lift?

Whether the answer is yes or no, it shows that god is not omnipotent. Perhaps the concept of omnipotence is a contradiction?

He argues that religion is the root of all evil. Do you agree? Have you ever read or listened to him? If not, would you? And if not why not?

How does it profit you to ignore the scripture and mock me?

Matthew 25:45-46
"... inasmuch as ye have done it not unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it not to me.
"... these shall go away into everlasting punishment ..."

Matt 6:24-34
"No man can serve two masters ... Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
"Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the meat, and the body than raiment?
"Behold the fowls of the air; for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
"And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
"Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? ..."

G-d offered his word, Torah, to 72 nations and all of them turned it down for various reasons. We, Jews, blindly accepted the Torah from Moses’ hand. We accepted that God would lead us, show us the way, and protect us. We are a people of faith. In fact, faith becomes the defining factor. Why?-Because we chose God.

In the NT Christians believe that we were chosen. But we accepted G-d without knowing His rules, before He uttered His laws we cried out, "You are Lord our G-d father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob." So, Christians were do you get your information that we are the Chosen ones, when in fact, we chose G-d, because we chose holiness.

The reason to why I say this is because I have noticed that alot of people use this racist idelogy against the Jews.

In Matthew 10:15, Matthew 11:23,24 and Luke 10:12, Jesus talks about the standing of those men in the final judgment being more "tolerable" than for those who don't listen to him or his disciples. The implication seems to be that they have the possibility of everlasting life.

On the other hand, at Romans 9:29, 2 Peter 2:6, Jude 7 (most specifically speaking of the everlasting fire) and Revelation 11:8, the fate of those destroyed originally at Sodom are equated with the second death. It's as if Paul, Peter and John took the opposite stand from Jesus.

Looking back through the history of some religions, one can find attempts to take a stand one way or the other as to whether those killed by God at Sodom and Gomorrah would be resurrected. The problem becomes, they are up, then down, then up again, over and over again. Do you know what your church says? Are you SURE?

I was reading the Bible, and I was horrified to read "My beloved put his hand by the hole of the door, and my bowels were moved for him." It's in The Book of Solomon, chapter five:4.

Two questions:

(1) Is it appropriate to have a queer writing verses in the Bible?

(2) Anyway, what's so scriptural about a guy on the toilet and a another guy trying to get in?

Bonus question: Where can I complain about this? Who's in charge of Bible content?

I am catholic, and I don't see why controlled underage drinking would be a problem with the church's guidelines. I stay controlled and don't engage in other deliquent acts, but would this still be a problem with the church?

hey guys... NO, I'm not asking anyone to write my paper but I was just wondering if anyone had any good websites that might cover detailed information on Jesus and Mohammed.

1. I have to trace the lives of Jesus and Mohammed historically.

2. Compare what impact the death of each person had on his respective religion.

3. Describe the ways each individual was/is being worshipped.

4. Explain how their messages are being carried out in the word today.

Thanks...........
