These are areas where we sin because they are so tempting to our natural person. Pride is self-centered and looks out for self, becomes haughty, disregards others, etc. The lust of the eyes sees things or people to covet, which leads to other sins, like theft, murder, etc. Lust of the flesh is sexual desire, which leads to rape, adultery, etc. When we are caught up in any of these things, it's best to abandon them as quickly as possible (repent), then seek the Lord's help to overcome them before you become engrossed in a wrong lifestyle.

1. Pride of Life-Being proud, of your appearance, belongings, position in life, perceived superiority to others, etc.
2. Lust of the eyes-looking and wanting sexually
3. Lust of the flesh-actually having illicit sex with others

I know that your question is based upon 1 John 2:16
However the Bible does not tell us exactly what they are.
I suspect God did not give us a hard and fast answer to that since those three things will be different from one person to the next.

1. Pride is good, but only to a point. Pride of life might mean "self-defeating" pride, i.e. too proud to accept help, that sort of thing.
2. Bedroom eyes.
3. Sex!

It is taking an extremely ego-centric, self-centered view of life. It is believing that the universe revolves around one self. It is a willingness to have self-gratification even at the expense of others. It is being dominated by one's sensual appetites. It is gluttony taking over the mind. It is a deadening of the heart. It is the soul deliberately sinning against God.

2.look around today: people think they are due everything they desire.(expensive car,top job even if their not qualified,desiring sex partners no matter same sex or not,married or not).thinking looks makes the person the most desirous.
