Put on the complete suit of armor from God that YOU may be able to stand firm against the machinations of the Devil;

Paul twice urged his fellow Christians to put on the 'complete' suit of armor.. this implies that no half-hearted approach would suffice. Our lions girded with truth means that Bible truth needs to be wrapped around us tightly so that we live in harmony with it. This requires a regular routine of Bible study. The breastplate protects a persons figurative heart, what they are on the inside. We must cultivate a love of God's righteous standards so that we do not water down his word. Feet shod with the equioment of the good news of peace means that we are prepared for action and ready to share the good news at every suitable occasion. Being busy "having plenty to do in the work of the Lord" (!Corinthians 15:58) is aprotection against the crafty acts of Satan. Most important is the large shield of faith. Like a large shield our faith protects us from Satan's burning missiles which could include insults. lies and half-truths put out by enemies of God and anything else that might weaken our faith including materialism.

The suit of armor represents protection.

Ephesians speaks about the suit of armor from God. This protects us from Satan's temptations.

Ephesians 6: 11 Put on the complete suit of armor from God that YOU may be able to stand firm against the machinations of the Devil; 12 because we have a wrestling, not against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places. 13 On this account take up the complete suit of armor from God, that YOU may be able to resist in the wicked day and, after YOU have done all things thoroughly, to stand firm.

Along with the suit of armor from Jehovah, Ephesians also speaks about:

Ephesians 6:14 Stand firm, therefore, with YOUR loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and with YOUR feet shod with the equipment of the good news of peace. 16 Above all things, take up the large shield of faith, with which YOU will be able to quench all the wicked one’s burning missiles. 17 Also, accept the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, that is, God’s word.

Our shield of faith also protects us to "quench all the wicked one's [Satan] burning missiles" ... I think it can also mean protect us from those who persecute us.

The helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the shoes of the readiness of the gospel of peace, the sheild of faith and the sword of the Holy Spirit which is the Word of God. I pray it on every day, asking God to put each piece firmly in place. I believe that it is there and protects my mind, emotions, heart, spirit, soul and body. Along with His Word in my heart it not only protects me but makes me so much more aware of Him and the world around me.

Wisdom , and wisdom is knowing God's word . It is our armor against the fiery darts of satan (lies) that is rampant on R&S for example. And since it is so very late in the game it is necessary to keep your Gospel armor on and in place. May God's mercy be on us all.

The functional full suit of armor consists of a helmet, gorget, spaulder, gauntlet, greave, poleyn and solleret. These parts are important and link to each other covering whole part of the body.

You might be looking for full plate armor...a metal suit that was so heavy that the wearer had to be lifted on to his forse by a small crane.

Or perhaps you're asking about Bomb Squad armor? Flack suits? Shields?

Or perhaps you're referring to a mind so enclosed by religious dogma that nothing of the real world can get in?
