They are all monotheistic religions which accept different versions of the Torah as divinely inspired scripture. They each recognize Abraham as a prophet. Christianity arose out of Judaism, and Islam was founded upon both Christianity and Judaism.

Gee, I looked over some of the previous answers and I can't believe how many insulting answers you got to a simple, straight forward, question about facts. This forum is worse than the politics and government one!

MUSLIMS BELIEVE IN THE TAURAH, ZABOOR, INJEEL AND QUR’AN

Four revelations of Allah (swt) are mentioned by name in the Qur’an: the Taurah, the Zaboor, the Injeel and the Qur’an.

Taurah, the revelation i.e. the Wahi given to Moosa (a. s.) i.e. Moses (pbuh).
Zaboor, the revelation i.e. the Wahi given to Dawood (a.s.) i.e. David (pbuh).
Injeel, the revelation i.e. the Wahi given to Isa (A.S.) ie. Jesus (pbuh).
‘Al-Qur’an’, the last and final Wahi i.e. revelation given to the last and final Messenger Muhammad (pbuh).

It is an article of faith for every Muslim to believe in all the Prophets of God and all revelations of God. However, the present day Bible has the first five books of the Old Testament attributed to Moses and the Psalms attributed to David. Moreover the New Testament or the four Gospels of the New Testament are not the Taurah, the Zaboor or the Injeel, which the Qur’an refers to. These books of the present day Bible may partly contain the word of God but these books are certainly not the exact, accurate and complete revelations given to the prophets.

The Qur’an presents all the different prophets of Allah as belonging to one single brotherhood; all had a similar prophetic mission and the same basic message. Because of this, the fundamental teachings of the major faiths cannot be contradictory, even if there has been a considerable passage of time between the different prophetic missions, because the source of these missions was one: Almighty God, Allah. This is why the Qur’an says that the differences which exist between various religions are not the responsibility of the prophets, but of the followers of these prophets who forgot part of what they had been taught, and furthermore, misinterpreted and changed the scriptures. The Qur’an cannot therefore be seen as a scripture which competes with the teachings of Moses, Jesus and the other prophets. On the contrary, it confirms, completes and perfects the messages that they brought to their people.

Another name for the Qur’an is the ‘The Furqan’ which means the criteria to judge the right from the wrong, and it is on the basis of the Qur’an that we can decipher which part of the previous scriptures can be considered to be the word of God.

I speak as a practicing Roman Catholic> There is NO Christianity without Judaism. Christ was a Jew; since he was a teacher he was a Rabbi; he preached in the Temple; he observed Jewish law; and his earthly parents, Joseph and Mary were Jewish. Christians must remember those facts and also remember that the late Pope John Paul said, when he went to the Synagogue in Rome to pay his respects , that he referred to to Jewish community as the "elder brothers of the Church". Unfortunately, Islam , by the very fact of referring to anyone not Muslim as infidels, have devoted their lives to kill as many non believers in Mohamed as possible. There is no relationship except a very tenuous one between Christianity and Judaism with Islam.

Islam and Judaism are religions. Christianity is not; it's a lifestyle.

Islam and Judaism don't believe in the Rapture and Christian do.

3 is a spiritual Power. The Middle East the bridge to the different sides of the Earth. Judaism the Middle. Christianity the West, and Islam the East. Perhaps they will bring all Good people together in order to oppose the Powers of Darkness when the Time comes.

They are three branches from the same tree - the recognise the same God, they share many prophets and (if the same God is worshipped) the same Heaven.

The tree is rooted in the Middle East and they are all branches which have sub-branches.

Unfortunately, it's all intermingled with politics and instead of rejoicing in a common, shared heritage, the branches are all trying to be the only one with no regard to how much each would lose without the other.

Pity.................

All believe in One God. All believe in the Prophets , Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, Noah, Moses, and others.
Muslims except John the Baptist and Jesus as a Messenger/Prophet. They do not except Jesus to be a son of God nor do the Jews. All worship God. All believe in Hell.
All believe in Angels. All have Holy Books and Holy sites for Pilgrimage. Many Similarities. Jesus said " My Father and I are One" He also said we are all Son's of God.
This is not exceptable to the Muslims. All have Holy Holidays and Worship the Same God. The one true God, Yet they may call Father God, he/she/all that is, something different.

All these three religions are same religion. This is the only religion chosen by God for human. Judaism and Christianity contains primary rules for human society and were sent to control human life at early stages of human society. Islam is the latest and contains the full version.
e.g. math in elementary level contains only basic rules of math. In high school more rules and problems are given and math in university level conains its full version. But all these are math for different levels and is the same subject. Math for one level does not prove math for other levels as false.
