Yes. It has become the most recent fashionable thing to do. .
Chic, I think they call it. Walking around in Saffron Robes, and sandals, looking into the vast sky with that far away look , and others, sitting by a statue of Buddha contemplating their respective navels ....it is the "IN" thing to do. Of course, by so doing, New Yorkers who are on the cutting edge of the latest, are disrespecting the core belief of millions of people thorough out the world. But like the "Hoola Hoop"" ,hopefully, some thing else will come along to replace the current insanity.
