I think many of you have missed my point. It isn't the fact that they disagree with me or my religion that makes them pathetic. It is this need to disrupt our General Confrence, Easter Pagents and things like that. Standing there shouting taunt and wearing signs with hateful messages on them. This is what makes them pathetic.

I maybe what you would call Anti-Mormon. Although, I am not one of those that would spend my free time, go those events you talked about. I have better things to do, than to dance around with the LDS garments on top of my head, make signs, and shout stuff. However, I will help others see how the LDS church is not biblical. I will do this through the Bible, prayer, and telling them the things the LDS church taught me. I mean the actual LDS doctrine, not the watered down doctrine.

I don't think that others really care. They are to busy with their own lives. The "anti-Mormons" aren't burning crosses in Mormons yards, they aren't bombing Mormon places of worship, they aren't causing any physical harm to anyone. The LDS can walk on by and ignore those people who chose to do those things you mentioned above. In the world we live in people have a right to pro-test things. Even if make a they make a nuisance of themselves.

I'm LDS, aka mormon. Although I hate that nickname. I don't think they are pathetic. They have a right to think as they want. What I don't like is them repeating over and over things they have heard. Most of it is hear-say and has only a little to no truth behind it. Mr. Peepers is always rude about answering questions about us "mormons". He thinks he needs to bring others over to his way of thinking. That's how a lot of anti-anything are. I don't get on here and tell others they are wrong for what they believe, or what they believe are wrong. They have the right to believe what they will, and who knows, they really could be right, and I'm wrong. It's all a faith thing, and who am I to try to say their faith is wrong? I just wish others would understand the same thing, and just agree to disagree.

Hi Ethan. You seem to be a little sensitive to the overall environment of YA.

To most people not mormon, mormons aren't much as a religious group. Sure, they're often portrayed as nice, pleasant, nice, religious, nice and pious. Did I mention nice?

Hardcore 'christians' on the other hand, find scriptural fault nearly verse for verse between the BoM and Bible, consider the church as non christian and a cult. As a group, they are the most vehement 'Anti" anything as you'll find.

Former mormons and those possessed of inquiring minds are of two camps: One camp recognizes the teachings and doctrines of the mormon church an anathema and choose to no longer believe it. A second camp not only has the above sentiment, but resent being told all there lives how this church is the one and true church, yada yada. This is your learned arch-rival, the ones brave enough not only to leave, but to tell the remaining faithful they are seriously mislead and have made the mistake of their lives.

Finally, mormons cannot take ANY form of criticism without whining "Persecution!" and labeling any disagreement as "anti". That's why is a monumental waste of time trying to convince people like you - but the other non-members log on here, review the arguments and come away knowing "all is NOT well in Zion". Your 'pathetic' question doesn't help the missionary effort one bit.

But mostly, we "anti-non-ex-post-lead by satan" mormons are APathetic by nature. Nice try baiting the question in a childlike manner.

I think it is nonsensical to be anti-someone else's faith. Afterall, this is faith....belief without evidence. Who is to say which is right, better, than another?

If we could all just leave each other be. Unfortunately, some of us insist that others believe as they do. And with that attitude, there will be strife.

I am an atheist. I have no problems if mormons believe whatever they want to believe, as long as they keep it to themselves. When they (or anyone) start insisting that I believe as they do, then we will have some words.

And cclleeoo is being a bit precious abut Mr Peepers answer. I think Mr peepers said it all in his answer and if he did not say it I think I would have. How about you get over it. Mormons ar epathetic with their false prophets and their claims of one true church etc.

Mr. Peepers answered you quite rudely.
I think that anyone who would want to try to force someone out of their religion an dinto another are pathetic. I love Mormons. Mr. Peepers makes it seem like there is a problem with being nice. I think there is more of a problem with rudeness. But hey, no one is perfect.

Yes, they make themselves look like the bad guys because they are so rude, and pathetic. It's like their way to take out their own problems on others or something I guess.
