ok, so in the old testament there are all these instances where someone disobey's God or their father or someone and not only do they either get stoned to death but also their wife and kids. I thought God was supposed to be merciful. i mean i know he is. im saved and all but i dont' understand this kind of stuff. can anyone help me see how he is mercful here?

like could the soul reproduce itself? could thier have been one sould at the beginning that started the big bang. maybe it was the first Idea. all other souls have come from this soul but that soul might not exist anymore. i dont know though just a thought. give me your opinions. or what you think the soul is.

Yes it is a free grace given to anyone who is willing to open his\her heart to invite the Lord into his life. But thereafter, the price he need to pay is to carry his own daily cross (persecutions, hardship, etc) till the Lord 2nd coming. There is no easy way out.

ok ,a human would normally live like about 80-90 years...and if,within that lifetime,he doesn't believe in God,he's going to burn in hell for ETERNITY??? is that what we know as just?

i got this mail sometime back about how in iran,a little boy had stolen a piece of bread.the punishment was that his arm was to be crushed under a vehicle...is that just?

isn't the punishment supposed to fit the crime?how can it be "just" to send a person EVEN if he didn't believe to hell to burn in all eternity?

I find it strange as many people disclaim the existence of God and brush off faith as something intangible comapared with modern science.

If God has not sustain the faith of his billions through all ages since the work of Christ, then its hard to attract so many believers over the century.

Is your heart close to Him that is why you deny His existence?

we keep hearing that there is doomsday - rapture - the end of the world - the comming of the christ - but thousands and thousands of years just keep on coming and going and life just goes on! so where is it? where is all that death and detruction ?
