All right,
let time be t. and f(t) be events caused at a time t.
what is the limit as t approaches infinity of f(t), or at least what is the value of f(t) as t approaches maximum value.
On Earth naturally.
The answer will be provided, both the Christian one and the proper one.

oops and f is a function of t (obvious, but it ought to be provided).

ok, let f(t) be THE CONDITION OF EARTH AT TIME T or THE MAJOR WORLDWIDE OCCURANCES OF EARTH AT TIME T, for example right now we have Global Warming. Or any worldwide event.
In 1915, it would be WWI

Quan: I assumed little people would have beyond basic Calculus knowledge, where time is generally regarded as linear.
I can see from your response you tried to use advanced concepts but I am afraid to tell you your handle on this concepts is very weak. Do not repeat that paragraph outside of the internet while talking to intelligent people or THEY WILL point and laugh.

THE ANSWER IS:
CHRISTIANS: RAPTURE. AS TIME APPROACHES LARGE VALUES YOU BELIEVE RAPTURE WILL OCCUR. TAKE SOME CALCULUS, IT IS GOOD FOR YOU.
For the rest of us, 4 billion years is a good estimate.

Jedi, you have not defined f(t). We need a little more.
f(t)=?
*Good try but you never really defined f(t) as a function, while you are assuming time progresses linearly, f(t) is not necessarily linear and therefore you did not provide enough information to solve the problem mathematically. But I did like your Rapture answer. When you get to college you should take differential equations, it is an entire class based on functions of systems with relation to time, it is alot of fun if you can believe that.

T (time) can not approach a maximum value. You are assuming that time has a beginning, and an end, that is a fallacy, especially when you construct it in terms of infinity.
You can place a certain event (f) at a moment in time (t), however, that moment is impossible to measure in finite terms, because time is infinite, frontward and backward left and right. We measure time by the human lifespan, but what is time for a ladybug, or a protazoa?
Time only functions as a human mode of perception, but if humans were to be abolished from the face of the earth, time as we know it would end.
I am Christian, but I hardly would say I am blabbing responses. If this is a trick question, the joke is on you, kind friend.

This question is tricky, the moreso because it is a historical question, and not a mathematical one! How shall we calculate destiny? Here is one Christian's answer:
To say that (t) equals time, and that in the "equation" is supposed to come close to infinity, is to restate another Biblical phrase, the "Fullness of Time", in a mathematical fashion. In this form, "t" can either signify infinity or zero at it's "maximum", for "t" either becomes completely filled (close to infinity) or counts down to zero, depending on how one counts time as one approaches a significant event.
MOST people would probably ascribe zero to "t" at the event hour, since we use the phrases "countdown" and "zero hour" to describe an approach to a certain event at a certain time.
Since "f" and "t" are directly related, but not identical, it must be assumed that "f" is the intended inverse of "t" at its maximum (the appointed time). The symbol "f" therefore equals 1/"t"(maximum), and the equation f(t) really looks like a fraction, with the numerator(t) rapidly approaching the denominator(f), as time approaches the event destined to happen.
At its fullness, therefore, f(t) can ultimately equal only 1 or zero, depending on whether one counts up or down towards a historical event. If one counts "up", then the answer is 1, for you have reached a single moment/event in time. If one counts "down", the answer is zero, for 0/0 still equals 0!
How did I do?

Doesn't matter if 'know' what I'm talking about. My knowledge, and your knowledge, don't change what 'truth' is.
I have no problem acknowledging my short-comings, my faults, errors, etc. It doesn't change anything though, does it?
Also, if time is 't', shouldn't the event caused at a time 't' be called 't1'? Or at least 'tn'?
But honestly, what does this have to do with seeking, and hopefully, finding truth, either religious or spiritual?

Your whole thing is ----! Time is an expression of human necessity and not a factor of substance in any quantum
sense. Any event is relative to the observer of that event from the relative position of that observer. Additionally the likely hood of the event actually occurring is relative to which state the event is randomly expressed as to this universe in which I murdered the cat or in the alternate universe in which the cat lived.

i see what you are trying to do to them, but even i, a learned student of physics, do not know this or perhaps your question is unclear to me, either way i would enjoy divulging in the answer. i think it depends on the perspective, and to the person who is being observed events f(t) will approach zero as time approaches the asymptote of infinity. or perhaps i have my space time relations in a quarell again : (
