What do you mean plans? It's death, not a f**king holiday.

I wouldn't call it planning exactly, but I've been fartling around with the idea of building a new wormhole transit system connecting Sol, and it's planets, with Sirius (Alpha, Beta and possibly Gamma ), and then extending on through the Horsehead and Crab nebulae. I thought that a restaurant in between the two could be fairly spectacular.

Otherwise I like to keep my options open, as much as possible.

What would I need to be saved from to have an afterlife? If you say death then you indicate some may not die. If you say
not believing in heaven is a sin, which commandment does it break?

I beleive that death brings the end of consciousness, non existence. Eternal peace with the universe is a nice way of saying it. Infinite stillness. Quiet time. NOTHING. All in all it doesn't sound bad, but I think I'll enjoy my life while I have it. Self awareness is a terrible thing to waste.

what's the POINT in never ending discussions about whether or not there's an afterlife?? i've seen so much unpleasantness done by christians who try to convert people....who can ever know for sure? are the dead going to come and tell us?

Buddhism teaches that we must act with awareness, compassion and kindness at all times and treat others likewise...

i believe that the soul will travel to otherworld,

which it to say somewhere that is not here.

upon arrival in otherworld the soul will follow one of 3 paths.

the path of reflection,

in which the soul will reflect on the things learned in the past life and compare them to the things learned in previous lives.
in preperation for reincarnation to continue a path to perfection.

immediate reincarnation.

usually in the event of a violent death or a sudden death where the soul feels cheated from the experiences of life, or in the event of a life that offered little in the way of enlightenment or learning.

enlightenment

where in the soul has experienced as much as it can and is ready to become a spiritual guide to others to help them on their path. this soul can reincarnate at will, when it feels the need to or it can remain a spiritual teacher.

Personally, I plan on opening a Ben & Jerry's on the River Styx. Should be a big money maker! LOL

Whatever.

I plan to reincarnate on a different planet with advanced technology that can bend space so I can come back to earth and laugh at your silly buts.

I believe there is no afterlife. True, the energy that was in me will go elsewhere, but not my mind. I am dead, and that is all.

I shall assassinate God in retribution for all the trouble he has caused. It will be justice, and Christians are, after all, great believers in justice. All who cause harm to others shall face justice.
