The soul, in my opinion, is a sentient energy force that is not bound by the traditional physical limits that we are accustomed to.
Could souls reproduce? Sure - physics would allow that (by the collection of random energy, then patterning that energy, it would be considered as a kind of "offspring").

You might find the work of Jane Roberts interesting, she channeled a being named Seth. Somewhere in the Seth materials (there were quite a few books written on these sessions), there is an idea called an "over soul". The gist of it, as best I can explain it is what I call a Spider Plant analogy.
The pot, and the soil within it, is "God". In actuality, "God" is too vast for limits such as the flower pot is, but I am using that as an analogy for the sum total of all things. So the Divine Mind, whatever it is, is so big and so vast that it doesn't even know what it is, or who it is. So it sends out energy to explore, and create, and find out. Up from the soil comes the Spider Plant, who represents a large chunk of soul energy called the Oversoul. The Oversoul is an extension of "God", as my hand is an extension of my arm. So "God" sends out several of these extensions, and each has it's own place in the universe, with it's own point of view. Then the Spider Plant sends out shoots, and on the shoots are little baby Spider Plants in all directions, each a unique individual of it's self, and each with a unique position and point of view. The baby Spider Plants, (souls) are extensions of the Oversoul, as my fingers are the extension of my hand. Now comes the fun part. As the souls experience thier environment, and interact there, and interact with each other, they are creating and experiencing everything that could possibly be created or experienced, and all that information goes back through the shoots to the Oversoul, and through to Oversoul, through the roots back into the flowerpot / God, who is the sum total of all, and also growing through this exploration, just as we are...

We only have the Word- Soul. No one is capable of understanding what the Soul is. After all we are smaller than a spec of dust in the Universe. Humans are nothing special, just a species.

No.
The verb "to be" refers to something that exists. If you claim the soul exists then what form does it take? What is the composition of this original soul? Some soul element with an atomic number above what we have discovered? Some cohesive swarm of strange quarks? Vibrating strings? High temperature plasma? What?
Define your soul's existence and you might be able to define how it would reproduce.
Right now you just have another fairy tale.

even as i develop right into a baby, i presumed as a baby and believed that there develop right into a soul mate for each man or woman. i'm on husband #3, so i have given up the soul mate dream. i'm an eclectic quixotic Gemini, and the first of the air signs and symptoms is helpful...and mutable.

Not if the soul resides in the mind. We just don't have enough information to determine what exactly the soul is.
