Whenever I'm in the same room as him, he start rambling about God and during the Pledge of Allegiance, he emphasizes on "under God". He knows I'm an atheist and it is getting really annoying. Help?

When he asked me if I believed in God, I said I didn't. And ever since, he's been crazy.

Since it sounds like you are in school, you are within your rights to report him to the administration. His behaviour is unacceptable and bordering on harassment, and you are legally entitled to be protected from such tirades.

Take action against him. If you do not want his attention tell him so and tell him to get lost. Only very bad Christians behave like this.

BE afraid - BE VERY AFRAID - there are a number of forms of madness that use religion and sexual attraction - go to the police now!!!

Really frightening what Christians on here will condone isn't it!!!!!!!

I kid you not - Do not take the risk - report the guy and stay well away from him.

Next time he tries to get near you shout and run . he and everyone else will hopefully get the message that there is a dangerous weirdo on the loose!!!

You can make it work one time when you are alone with him. Let him know that you are aware of his intentions and that you appreciate his efforts to "save" you. Insist that his efforts are so obvious that they have caused you to be defensive and are turning further away from God than ever before...and all because of his pressuring and unwelcome remarks.

That is the proper way to fend off a pushy person without looking like a tough guy or looking weak...you will look classy.

I can remember when the pledge had the words "under God" put into it.

Avoidance is the only way to save you from his harangues.

Why don't you just tell him that he is annoying you? If he goes into his religious tirade ask him what tragedy he has suffered to bring him to this need for his God. If that doesn't work tell him that religion is personal and he needs to be personal with his.

next time he says the pledge of allegiance, remind him that Jesus specifically forbade oathes during his sermon on the mount, and ask him why he goes directly against the teachings of Jesus himself

can't you leave the room or let someone know of this harassment?
free speech is one thing but being downright offensive is another thing all together!

One thing I do is to start scratching myself and tell them that I am allergic to BS.

During the pledge? So you're in school, I take it. There are rules about preaching in school- talk to your school administrators and see what they can do for you.
