Anyone in a religion WILL NOT go to Heaven!
Anyone who preaches in the name of a religion will go to their religion's hell!

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one with a Spiritual brain.

Atheists, why you guys want to take such a big risk, not beleiveing in God. Let's say, (God forbid, suma nauozubillah) that God doesn't exist, than would I have anything to loose. I am a moderate follower who lives in peace with everyone. What would you do? if after death you found out there was God after all. You would be doomed to hell for that's the punishment for prople who reject faith. I understand, we should take risks but this one is loose-loose situation risk. This is not a matter of life or death but Hell or Heaven.(just assume they exist for a momment). So, why take the chance? I do not mean to be offensive but just curious about your opinions. anyway, I'm not a Christian, but a Muslim.

I'm sure this question gets asked once per day, but it is a very factual question. From my personal experiences with atheists I know that they are always the ones that bring up religion....almost like they are trying to convert me. They constantly mock my beliefs, then when I defend myself and say that I disagree with, but respect, their opinions, they start to debate me. When I bring up a point they cannot counter they end the debate by saying I don't understand evolution and start mocking me or talking about spaghetti. I know atheists claim they are not a new religion, but they try to convert people, they have their holy text (origin of species), they have meetings where they discuss their beliefs and they raise money for various issues, like legal battles against Christians. Yet, they don't see their behavior as religion-like? It's pretty close to scientology I say. Many famous people believe in it and they get VERY upset when you point out their personal foibles.

The value of this is that the first followers of both religions probably understood the theology and teaching best, so they lived accordingly. Any ideas or guesses?

You don't have to be religious to be spiritual. Do you agree?

He's in his 30's and says that Santa is always watching him. He says if he is naughty then Santa punishes him, but if he is nice Santa will reward him. He claims Santa lives in a magical place and has all kinds of miraculous powers. He is clearly delusional. Oh, and he calls Santa "God". How do I help him?

Revelation 20:5 "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished."

Revelation 20:13 "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works"

This and other verses seem to support everybody just hangs around 'sleeping in their graves' until judgment days comes around.

So, is heaven empty? And what happened to all the dead whose graves were destroyed? (you don't think we keep graves around forever, do you?)

Before you answer the question please note that it has been asked inorder to take views of people and people only not of a media or government influenced brain. You might say whatever you want but think twice, you might come up with a positive answer. Today the world is at war because of religious differences, what can you do to remove one difference from your mind and meet someone as a person; as another human being.

Like probably most of the atheists here, I grew up in a christian church and, believe it or not, I was even an alterboy.

The thing is, the more I started to understand the bible, the more I saw it's contradictions.

It lost all credibility for me before I was even a teenager.

So, why do you guys keep telling me I should "try" reading it sometime?
