He's in his 30's and says that Santa is always watching him. He says if he is naughty then Santa punishes him, but if he is nice Santa will reward him. He claims Santa lives in a magical place and has all kinds of miraculous powers. He is clearly delusional. Oh, and he calls Santa "God". How do I help him?

Poor fella.....well maybe not.

Be sure you try and tell him Jesus is the REAL reason for the season, after that....there's not much you can do.

So he's got sort of a red dressed devil Santa on one shoulder and an Angel in white Santa on the other.

For the delusions, it would be wise for him to see a mental health professional.

You don't. Your friend has the right to believe in whatever he wishes, so long as it does not cause any harm or suffering to anyone else. If he believes in Santa or God it's his business. And what makes you think meither of them do exist? He might be right!!

Get him the red-white costume! Well... joking..

If his personality in general is OK and normal, let him believe in Santa, it makes no harm.

But if you see his is obsessed with strange ideas, and as you say he is clearly delusional, do not hesitate, tell him to visit a therapist.
