Honestly, i am curious what you associate that word with. It is set to focus on current day "Christians" and their culture. This is a general question and does not discriminate against anyone.
Personally, I associate it with negative connotation...but that is simply because of what many have done compared to the few. Many have harmed the image of Christianity through such things as: Blind Faith ( accepting without question), acceptance because its popular, Ignorance internally (they don't comprehend the teachings, or they apply them incorrectly to current times), Outward ignorance (not accepting other cultures, simply because "only we can be right"), and many other things that deal with ignorance and discrimination. Such as discriminating against certain people due to race, orientation, etc.
I realize that many are not this way. However these are the views that are constant in mainstream society today, thus that is how i perceive the term. But, this is simply one viewpoint to have.
