First, it's "y'all's" not "yawls." Also acceptable would have been "all y'all's."

There was a CD put out some time ago called 'Ska-leluia" (Back when ska was popular) that I really enjoyed. It was ska versions of popular old hymns.

Do some delving into the country music aisle.

Garth Brooks
-The River
- (I thank God for) Unanswered Prayers

Big & Rich
- Live this Life
- Holy Water

Josh Turner
- Long Black Train

Toby Kieth
- Drugs or Jesus

I don't remember who did these
- Don't take the girl
- I been watchin' you

Lots of country artists have also covered hymns too. (Before you go out and by an album however I will warn you. Country stars are always respectful to the women they sing about, but they do like to drink and get rowdy too. I don't know how 'Christian' the music has to be for you, but you can't go too wrong with country music)

You might want to check out some of the "WOW" CD's. They usually have a mix of popular Christian tunes from each year.
