Many people are just going to say 'except Jesus and your all set'... don't be fooled. Repentance is a process, not a recited prayer.
First--Confess and forsake your sin. Admit you were wrong and never do it again.
Second--pray to God with real intent to be forgiven through the atonement of Jesus Christ. There is no set prayer you have to recite. Your Heavenly Father wants you to hear form you and your heart.
Third--develop godly sorrow--this is being truly sorry, not just because you're afraid of the consequences, Be sorry that you offended your Father in Heaven who loves you. The Savior suffered on the cross and bled from every poor in the garden and He was perfect. He made a way back to Heaven, be sorry that you were part of the sins He suffered for.
Last--Do whatever you can to make restitution for your sin--like if you hurt someone apologize--fix anything you broke--return what you stole--just do the best you can.Change your heart and actions. You must try your hardest to learn God's commandments and and follow them.
You might not feel forgiven right away. You will know, when you are forgiven--because you won't feel that same level of guilt and pain will be replaced with joy and hope.

the roman way would be to cut off your ring finger and present it to those you sinned against. until that happens you can never be forgiven. Thats what the bible verse that says sins cannot be forgiven without the shedding of blood, meant.
start cutting fool.
God=CutnuciliI(when written in times new roman font and cut into managable peices)
or you could start an army like Santa Anna's that not even a don could defeat, since don's like to consider themselfs Romans.
also you really only needed one bone to be forgiven, but your Lord Jesus said to give two when asked for one, thus if you accepted Jesus as your Lord, you now owe two. Thus the habit of offerring most of the finger. But repent your allagience to Jesus and save a bone.
perhaps when you see a Mob guy missing most of a finger it means he was a follower of Jesus. A mob guy missing only one full bone of the finger could have been a follower of angels who only wanted one bone from you.
and any other people without any bones missing might be the warrior's of the world who never bow to the Jesus way to Honour God the Code, or let Romans rule them, not matter what past rulers have granted the romans living in their lands.
And if that answer don't win the 10 points, then your just deluding yourself.

If you have truly believe and trusted that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins then all of your sins are forgiven. You should ask the Lord to help you not to do it again and judge yourself and turn from your sins. 1 Corinthians 11: 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 1 Corinthians 11: 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

Confess exactly what you have done to god. God is forgiving and he knows your heart. If you are truely sorry and repent of your sins, He will forgive you. You dont need to say a specific verse but confess it to god and he will forgive you.

I'm not a Christian, but asking God for forgiveness is a good start. If you have harmed another, you should seek their forgiveness as well - and if it is something that you could rectify, you should. You sound like a good and sincere person... I'm sure you will be forgiven.

Demonstrate your contrition during your prayers to God for forgiveness.
I speak to God in the same manner as I write these words to you now. That is, I have a plain conversation with Him each day, usually out under the stars late at night as my family sleeps. My prayers are conversations that follow a pattern. I start every prayer with the following: "Most merciful God, not my will, but yours be done." I repeat that phrase often during my prayers. Sometimes I will do so for tens of times just to quiet my mind and make it open to hearing from my Creator.
Use the following pattern in all your prayers and you will see them answered: Adoration, Contrition, Thanksgiving, and Supplication. See the links below for more information. (acronym: ACTS)

I John 1: 9 - "If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Please note that this verse does not protect us from the consequences of our actions. It does, however, explain how to be forgiven.

Tell God not us. He said if you confess your sin He is faithful and just to for give your sin and cleanse you from ALL righteousness. You you really want this and you are willing to live for Christ then pray..
Lord, I am a sinner I agree with you that I have fallen short in my life of living Your way. I want to step out of this old life of sin and enter a newness of Life in relationship with Jesus. Lord I trust you I know you would never lie. Come into my heart Lord and make me yours....Jim

As far as God is concerned. I 1John 1:9 If we confess our sins then God is faithful to forgive our sins and clean us from the evil. Talk to God about this sin and ask him to forgive you. If your sin involves doing something wrong to another person, then you should also make that right and ask their forgiveness. For example, if you stole something, it should be returned.

Say to the lord specifically what you did and ask for forgivness, and recomit your self. Or the way that all pasters and such say is that you should publically repent but you don't have to. Just as long as you tell the what you did and ask for his forgiveness.
