and you have to keep re-lying to yourself every Sunday, and it takes a whole bunch of you all together in church to re-believe the delusion, with music and reading the same book over and over again. It's all because deep down you know Jesus was a fraud, right?

I offer this question respectfully. I do not believe in Gods and therefore consider myself an Atheist. I do not see Atheism as a religion or a spiritual path.

I do believe there are lots and lots of "Spiritual Atheists" and I totally think this is awesome. I consider myself on a path of "Druid Spirituality".

So I suppose I offer this question up to those who are Atheists and ask what Spiritual Path are you on?

If you wish to answer that you believe Atheism itself is a spiritual path, I would respect that, but ask for a bit of explanation.

I do not mean this to be "Atheists why are you in this category", because I am an Atheist, and quite frankly, I'm the Mayor of this Category and will continue to ask and answer questions in this category for a long, long time to come.

Something that you use to remove stains, you don't drink it.

Jesus often said his blood would be for the remission of sin -- and then at the Last Supper, he started talking about people drinking his blood. What was up with that?

There has been a lot of talk lately about stem cell research and the benefits it will produce. I for one am strictly against this research. Being a Chirstian I believe that the Lord has a plan for our lives. I don't think the Lord has a plan to cure death and lead to eternal life on Earth. This is why God created heaven, a place for us to reside eternally. We all must die and each death is in God's plan for us. If this new stem cell research leads to cures for many things than we will have people living to be 150 and overpopulation in the world. There is a reason for death and we should not fear it. There is alternative stem cell research that does not kill human cells, this I am fully aware of but it is the results of research that could lead to things that God doesn't plan for us to toy with.

It seems they feel very insecure about their own religion of Atheism, which is also entirely based on belief since there is no way any of them can know there is no God. Or have you guys been to every corner of the Universe and checked to make sure no God is hiding someplace?

You see, you Atheists are just as much human as everyone else, which means your physical limitations are the same and you pretty much don't know anything about the Universe just as everyone else don't know.

The difference is that religious people have something in them that tells them there is a God... that tells them something can't come from nothing.... life can't come from non-life... Good will triumph Bad etc.

BTW, why is it that many of you Atheists eventually turn to spiritualistic Eastern religions and end up doing Yoga and stuff? ha ha..

seriously if those godsquads out there can't handle it then i call for a designated section for athiests.
Athiests are discriminated against, out of populus bias, social conditioning, fear, and ignorance.
you christians may think we just want to cause conflict, wrong, we like discussing this stuff, that's how one learns, we have a desire for knowledge, and for a laugh, why be a boring sod who takes things to seriously.
free your selves from those contrived shackles and frolick in the joy of atheism. you don't need to live by some set of rules set by some book. just live and be kind. and have a joke now and then.
