and you have to keep re-lying to yourself every Sunday, and it takes a whole bunch of you all together in church to re-believe the delusion, with music and reading the same book over and over again. It's all because deep down you know Jesus was a fraud, right?

Absolutely.

Jesus promised that he would return before the generation that he preached to had died. We are left with one of three possibilities:

1) Jesus lied and had no intention of returning.
2) Jesus lied and could not return because he was dead.
3) Jesus returned but christians rejected him.

Note that in the third case he still lied because he did none of the things he promised to do upon his return.

Also note that this is just one instance. Other examples could be made of his statements about the unqualified efficacy of prayer (no mysterious ways or god's will in his statements) or any of a number of other declarations that have been shown to be false.

I am a Christian, and I haven't walked into a church on sunday or any other day in over 35 years. I do not feel a need to re-dedicate my faith, and if you took the time to understand what is truly written in Scripture, you would find that through the past few thousand years, every single prophecy that was written to come to pass at a specific time, has done so.
There is no reason to believe that the few that are left will not also come to pass.
You have to sail your own ship, dude, so have at it. What I know "deep down", is that you are as ignorant as your question.
If you base your opinion on a bunch of sunday church-goers, then that is nothing more than the proof of your lack of knowledge and ignorance to the truth.
Good luck. If you keep on calling Christ a fraud, I guarantee you will need some.

Please tell us where you get your information? You sound so positive surely you must have researched this fact?

don't you know that saying things just because you want to be noticed and you don't know about, and you speak ill against is called GOSSIP.

God have mercy on your soul, show a little intelligence will you, at least use words that are recognized in Christianity, and not all Christians follow a religion, following the teachings of Christ comes before any religions, for Jesus faught with the priests and scribes of his day, saying that they had lost their way from the teachings of His Father and that they had turned His Father's house into a market place, instead of a place for worship. Much of this can be applied to many churches today. Just read about Jesus, get to know His work, and be ashamed that you would dare try to bring down such the greatest human being that ever lived. If he asked forgiveness for those who had betrayed him, whipped him and crucified him, I think you can ask forgiveness for your arrogant question. Peace be with you.

I think that people that call Jesus a liar are jumping the gun here. I believe that the people that wrote about Jesus are the REAL liars, and some poor schmuck named jesus, or emmanuel or whatever his real name was, got written about, and people went from there, it would be as if someone wrote about me, and i wasnt there to defend myself agianst the liars.

For the record im not christian, and nor do i have nor want a relationship with Jesus. the idea of worshipping someone else is a sad pathetic joke.

What makes you think Jesus wasa liar. Is that your own conclusion?
Did you think that all up by yourself? If your so sure Jesus was a liar.
Then why not back up your claim, with proof.
Because that all anyone wants any more.Proof God exist or proof Jesus ,did this or that.
Just because one can not prove God exist Or jesus was the son of God. don't mean its all lies.
He that hideth hatred, with lying lips, and he that uttereth slander is a fool.

No offense, but the same can be said about anyone's beliefs. Why does a mathematician constantly have to work out problems, does he not truly believe they are the right ones? Why does a biologist constantly have to do field research, is he not absolutely certain there is pertinent facts to study? Does a musician really have to play the same song over and over again, doesn't he know for sure that he knows it? Etc, etc,

Re-affirming is practice, and it's part of the fun (for anything).

No, that is a very ignorant thing to say. I go to church because I truly enjoy it, I study the Bible because the words mean something to me, I sing and listen to Christian music because I like it. Tell me how this is any different than anyone else doing something they enjoy over and over again. I lived my life with out the Lord for many years and then discovered him and his love during a very hard time in my life. I like who I am now, I find joy in believing and if you cannot deal with others finding joy in something other than hate and judgment than you truly have a sad life, I hope at some point in your life you find joy in something other than criticizing others!

Yahweh is the only one, who has the right to question a person's motives for anything they say, do, or think.

He will one day, judge all people according to His Holy and Eternal Word. This is not a delusion or a lie.

WHAT?! Whether or not Jesus is the Son of God, he was an incredible prophet. He didn't lie and he WAS perfect. He didn't sin. Therefore I do believe he is the Son of God. I'm sorry if you believe Christianity is a big crock and it is based on lies, solid lies. Hopefully one day someone will be able to reach you with the Truth.

why would I think Christ was a liar? He said the temple in Jerusalem would be destroyed.... it is. He said people will hate me.....they do. He said a lot of things concerning me, and they're accurate. why should I doubt someone who's never wrong?

and I read the Bible more and more because I don't have it memorized, so I have to find out what it says. simple as that.
