I have spoken to Muslim men before & they say how they get 72 virgins in Heaven. Do they only get them in jihad, or do they always get them? The woman who blew herself up in jihad last year, does she go to heaven & what is her reward if she does? I ask this out of sincerity, as I do not know the answers.

But no one has ever said anything about the women. Do they go to heaven? If so, are the requirements different for women than men? Are these 72 virgins for each man, virgins that died & are now there for them? or are they just always there in Heaven waiting for them?

This is a serious question. There is no attempt at mockery.

I have often thought of going to the church in our neighborhood, but have been hesitant because I'm not sure I believe that there is an all-powerful being who created everything. I do believe in Jesus, though.

I mean, the worst thing you can tell somebody here is to "Go to Mythology and Folklore." Is it a bad place? Think about the poor regulars in M&F (I like the abbreviation better). Are we being racist? Are they beneath us?

It seems that we just got the "why are there still apes" question, followed by the Christians complaining that OF COURSE they know Jesus was Jewish, so I think this old gem of a question deserves to be asked.

If, indeed, as antisecularists claim, things must disappear in order for a new thing to exist, please, please, please explain why there are still Jews.....

I have been trying out different churches. Originally I started out at a Baptist Church. But I felt opinion and politics were taught more than the bible. I want to go to church and here about the "Good News" . I later went to my Aunt's church. (She's Episcopalian) I don't really like the fact that they are letting homosexuals become priests and bishops. I did however enjoy the service. I like the rituals and routine of the service. I am going to go to church with my friend Sunday. (she's Catholic). What are the major differences between the Episcopal and Catholics.? Politically, I would say I am in the middle and to the right. I guess that's one thing I didn't like about the Episcopal church. They seem a little liberal.

many times on R&S i have seen people say that catholics, mormons and jehovah witnesses are not christians. if this is true, then what are they?

Some feel that God made gay people gay. If he did that would contradict him. He has said be fruitful and multiply.

If to control population, why does he not just make it impossible to have babies after 2 or 3?

Even evolution can be that smart.

For example:
Judges 1:19
"And the Lord was with Judah; and he drove out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron."

This comes from the Bible, and I guess nobody has to tell me that the Bible is the true and infallible, for I ought to know that already.

Question: Can anybody tell me of other things that the Bible god cannot do?

or is the Jewish form of satan more real? if christian tradition and interpretation are correct and the mormon also than the jews might not have a true tradition on who and what satan is! if the jews are correct that Satan is just a prosecuter and not someone that caused 1/3 of the angels to go to war in heaven, than christianity is wrong.
I dont want athiests answering this question because I know there are angels and i know there is a God, even a man named Jesus. so pls dont reply and say there is no satan.
