I wonder why christians dont follow the traditions of Judaism. And why so many believe that Jesus would not have followed these traditions himself.

One of the first things a christian wants to tell a jew is that jesus was jewish not having any clue what that means. And then wants to claim that jews killed the messiah.
Cruxification was roman tradition if we had killed him we would have thrown rocks.

scoffer?
It is my understanding and the understanding that King James ordered the writing of the King James Version of the Bible.

The transcribing of the KJV started in 1604 AD and was completed in 1611 AD that would be seven years and 1611 years after the death of Jesus.

So I find it very hard to believe he read the KJV...since he was already dead when it was written.

He was a Jewish man and He did follow the Torah. Note no one at His trial could prove Him guilty of the Law.

If Jesus observed the whole Torah, then he was the only one to have done that. I'm just saying that because Jews seem to have trouble with that concept.

I know that there are some Christians out there that have something against Jews. I am not one of those. Yes, Jesus was half Jewish, and I think that he couldn't have been anything else. It was prophecied after all.

Scoffer! Everyone knows Jesus was a Christian that read the King James Bible, not the Torah!

I remember suggesting to a fundie who'd joined the Navigators and was mistaking his memorization of proof-texts for Bible mastery that until he studied Mitzvot he would never understand his Bible. He replied, in all seriousness, that he had worked a Bar Mitzvot when they had one at the Holiday Inn and he didn't see what that had to do with the Bible.

wait, wait, wait, in fact he was Jewish, he was born in Israel , and he respected the Torah and the Jewish traditions and culture, but he didn't observed the Torah or other believes like the rest of the Jews , for example that thing, that the slaves where less than animals, or that you have to kill a women who committed adultery and other stuff, he had his own way of thinking. And it was "love each other no matter what, even if they are your enemies, love every single creatures in the planet because all of them are made by God".

Ummm...what Christian are you talking to? Jesus was Jewish. When he came into the world though, people called him "Christ" and followed him to become "Christians" (followers of Christ). Jesus is Christ which is where the term comes from. It's not stating that Jesus was not Jewish. Therefore, Christians (as a whole) are not making that statement either.

All Christians know that Jesus was Jewish. But he rebelled against the Jewish traditions and brought salvation to the Jews and the Gentiles.

I thought it was pretty obvious, myself. A Christian is a FOLLOWER of Christ. So is Jesus supposed to follow himself??? Of COURSE He was Jewish! So were the Apostles. The Book of Acts includes the battle to include non-Jews into the group. Any 'Christian' that doesn't know THAT is pretty ignorant!

What Christian doesn't accept that? Of course Jesus was Jewish and followed the Torah. God also sent Jesus as the Messiah to fulfill the promises of the Torah. Is that so hard to accept?

I know that Jesus was Jewish but even the Jewish people rejected him and didnt believe that He is the Messiah, which means that the Jews got it wrong also! Andy by the way we say Christian to mean christ like.
