Original sin and trinity make absolutely no sense, I"m just trying to understand how anyone can justify it.

God would have to make a son via a virgin and then have him killed to rectify the sins of Adam?
No person should believe in that.

I mean being attracted to multiple partners isn't a choice, it's just biology. Many animals have multiple partners. We can't help the way we were born. So you might say that polygamy ruins the sacredness of marriage and is abusive. Well, we certainly can't do any worse than all the monogamous relationships where the husbands beat their wives and couples get divorced. Plus, polygamy is accepted in many nonwestern cultures, where there are loving relationships. What kind of bigots would judge other cultures by declaring our western values superior to them? Where in the bible does it say that polygamy is a sin anyway. Didn't Solomon have many wives? In fact, people should be allowed to marry or have sex with a plant if they wanted to. You think anyone would be dumb enough to choose to be attracted to a plant or an animal, with all the crap they have to put up with? If you do, then shame on you for being so close-minded and ignorant

God, where ever he came from, created humans in his image (perfect...right?) but at the same time he offered temptation, then granted forgiveness (not so perfect, in my opinion). When humans die he offers this place called heaven, but for what?? To sit by his side and praise him for eternity? Doesn't sound like such a wonderful "being" to me. WHY does everyone want to sit in heaven with him? What is so great about heaven?

I'm not trying to downplay anything, I'm just trying to understand. If this God is so great, why is the greatest gift he gave to humans to be able to sit by his side and worship him? It sounds, I don't know, a little arrogant? What is the purpose of heaven?

Hello Everyone. I was wondering if you could help me with a project I am putting together. I need as many people as I can to help me. Could you ask everyone you know if they minded to answer these questions also on this subject? I need to know:
1. How long have you been serving God?
2. What does it mean to you to be saved?
3. What is something big God has done for you?
4. Can you briefly tell me what our Lord Jesus Christ means to you?
5. How can a person in your opinion that feels like there is no God find God & be saved?
I am putting all the answers I can get together & making a little book of inspiration to give to people like in the nursing homes,the lonely,the lost & so forth. I appreciate your much needed help. they did a study on twins seperated from birth and a large majority of them had the same traits, for instance they talked about how when one twin showed aggressive behavior they both had it, majority of the ones locked up or were on probation the other twin was going through the same thing, so doesnt this show how having the right makeup can be a advantage toward religions beliefs

What about the morning after pill? Should you get life in prison for that? What about adoption? Should we force people to adopt when orphanages become too overcrowded? What about women who die from back-alley abortions? Should we defecate on their graves?
