Original sin and trinity make absolutely no sense, I"m just trying to understand how anyone can justify it.

God would have to make a son via a virgin and then have him killed to rectify the sins of Adam?
No person should believe in that.

All humans are born pure and responsible for themselves, God would not make something stupid like original sin happen.

Nor would he have to kill his son to "get people's attention" or follow some guidelines. It makes no sense.

True Christianity practices pure monotheism and treats Jesus (as) as a prophet and not the son of God. The question is when the church will get around to editing the bible again?

Why do you state what people shouldn't believe, but don't put what you believe?
Trinity does make sense, it is possible because that is just how powerful God is, He is the Father, before there was time, He came down to earth via a virgin (because she was pure, so it was fit for the Son of God, and the fact that she was a virgin gives more to believe). While He was human, He was everything good, and honest, and true. He died because when Adam and Eve (Eve first) chose death, human kind was doomed, not worthy of Heaven. God made us for relationships, He wants a relationship with us, He use to walk with Adam in the garden and talk. When Jesus died He took on the sin of everyone so that His sacrifice would pay for our sins. Jesus died and went to Hell for us, until God raised Him from the dead, when that happened God sent His spirit, the Holy Spirit (everyone has a spirit, have you never felt someones spirit with you even when they weren't there?). That is how the trinity works. That is why Jesus died, do some research, you may find something wonderful.
I don't know enough about Islam to talk about why they don't have original sin... but I have studied surfaces of religions, though I was raised Christian, I have found nothing to disprove it

Can't really asnwer that. Don't know enough about the Muslims. I can tell you that they trace their religion back to Abraham and Abraham understood and passed on the history of original sin and Isreal received it. Jesus taught it.

Original sin is simply pride. Doing your own thing and thinking that you know better what is good for you that your Creator. The tree of knowledge of good and evil was simply a tool to allow the opertunity to exercise that choice.

Without reading the Bible and seeing how God relates to us it is hard to understand the concept of the Trinity. The best way I have to describe the Trinity is to think of the father of a houshold. When he is at work he wears the hat of the provider. When he is with his wife the wears the hat of the husband. And when he is with his children he wears the hat of a loving father. As such he kind of takes on three different personalities. He wouldn't treat his kids like someone at work nor would he treat someone at work like his wife. Now, being a finite being he can only deal with one aspect at a time, where as God, being an infinite being, is able to handle all at once.
God chose to reveal Himself in this way to help us understand the relationship He wants with us as best as we can.

Because Original Sin doesn't really exist. I am a Christian. I can't believe that a baby, innocent as it is, has committed sin within the first few hours of it's birth. Islam is onto something.

Uhhh Islam has almost the exact same story of Adam and Eve as Christianity, last time I checked.

Think about what it means to be a virgin...untouched, clean. And think about the birth of Jesus and why God wrapped himself up in flesh to save a dying world. He did this so that He could experience what we as humans experience, temptation, hunger, pain - how can we go to someone with our issues or pain and expect to be comforted if they have never gone through what we have went through.

God didnt have Jesus killed, he laid down his life so that we may be justified and have eternal life in heaven if we believe and confess our sins.

John 10:17 (NIV)
17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again.

John 19:7-11
7The Jews insisted, "We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God."

8When Pilate heard this, he was even more afraid, 9 and he went back inside the palace. "Where do you come from?" he asked Jesus, but Jesus gave him no answer. 10"Do you refuse to speak to me?" Pilate said. "Don't you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you?"

11Jesus answered, "You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin."

You don't have children, obviously, or your are oblivious.

You let them play in the streets.

You let them get naked and orgy.

You let them eat cookies and candy instead of meat and veggies.

You let THEM rule your life

You let THEM play GOD

Adam and Eve defied God (you let your Children DEFY you) and then they lied and weasled to God (The woman YOU MADE ME made me do it, the SERPENT made me do it -- NO taking of personal responsiblity, shrugging the blame to someone else -- YOU LET YOUR KIDS DO THAT -- SHE (the sister) did it. You let your SON blame YOUR daughter! You TAKE HIS WORD over HERS!

So God got angry.

And he stewed for years

And he sent his own blood to Earth to try and change man and to die in the process to make a point

And no one gets that point very well

I guess God is right, MAN is just plain STUPID and deserves to die!

Man is a JACKASS!

Now, what do you think about that, because YOU'RE THE LEADER of that movement!

Islam is of man, Christ is from the Father. You cannot compare the two, its like trying to mix oil and water.
