Terrorism is a "quagmire". How do you use the word?

In today's uage it's totally political and meaningless. Whoever America hates is a terrorist and everyone who they like is a terrorist fighter.

The US is considered a terrorist regime outside the United States. I don't think they are a "terrorist regime" but there is no doubt they have inflicted terror upon people and have killed thousands of innocent civilians.

Your "democracy" comment basically answers your own question.

By demonstrating your lack of intelligence about your own form of government, you clearly demonstrate your ability to have informed opinions about a so-called "terrorist regime". Just FYI, the U.S. Constitution establishes a Constitutional Republic.

A "democracy" would be much more of a terrorist regime. In a democracy, majority rules, period. For instance....if two men and a woman were stranded on an island, and the men voted to rape the woman.....democracy in action. In our Constitutional Republic, the rights of the individual are paramount.

Utilizing your logic, the mass graves of hundreds of thousands, and the chemical attacks on thousands of Kurds by Saddam would NOT be considered a 'terrorist regime'. After all, CNN says that Saddam did not have WMD's, so all the Kurds attacked by them must have just been kidding, right?

I'd suggest you go to China, North Korea, Iran, or many other places full of "innocent" people and spout off your liberal extremist crap. You'd then learn what a terrorist regime is all about. You'd be strung up by your own entrails for mouthing off with your extremist crap.

As far as "attacking countries waaay before 9/11"....again you demonstrate your intelligence level and your liberal extremist agenda. As far back as the US Civil War, enemy populations have been attacked to end the war and ultimately SAVE lives. Entire Southern Cities were destroyed by Union troops in order to break the will of the people and save the Country. During WWII, German and Japanese cities were destroyed in order to break the will of the people and end the war. Liberal anti-US extremists such as yourself would rather see US Soldiers killed than taking the war to the enemy to preserve freedom.

I'd suggest that you go to a communist utopia like China since you obviously hate the United States. You don't deserve the freedom that US veterans have earned for us.

We are considered a terrorist regime, our media just doesn't let us hear about what other countries say about us. And other nations are afraid to get on our bad side. The rest of the world is afraid of us. I am too. Look we had a chance to get rid of that imbecile George Wubya and he was first elected his second time in office. Scary!

There's also the fact that the American people are not in control of our government like they should. So we seem schizophrenic at times. Saving one day and destroying the next. Our citizenship are good people our government is evil...

It is considered a terrorist regime by some other countries. Every country thinks they are special, and they are the only ones who are right; that's where all the wars start. What goes around, comes around.

Because every time a hurricane blows or an earthquake rumbles or a tsunami wave washes away the world its the USA that is expected to come running and fix everything. When people are hungry, when new diseases arise, when they need emergency medical help...OR MONEY...we are there. I do not like Bush and his war...for many reasons, including personal ones...but terrorists...no...we are not.

I, as an American, see my country as being a terrorist regime. I am sure that most of the world also sees it that way. We have been doing this since McKinley was president, when we started expanding. It's disgusting. Not everyone wants to be like the United States, and that needs to be taken into consideration when our government is making its policies.

Well yes. This country was founded on terrorism. If any other country jumped on board a cargo carrying vessel and destroyed the cargo in the name of justice, it would be terroism, but when we do it, it gets reduced to being called a party.

It is our responsibility as citizens of North America to be aware of what we are doing on the name of "democracy", "Fight against terrorism", "Reforms", etc. etc.
In fact people in power are playing in the hands of so-called "think tanks".
Think tanks are victims of racial, and discrimination mentality. And to satisfy this mentality trying their best to use fair and all unfair means to suppress others.
History is evidence for such behavior and if some of us are really serious about fairness and moral values, it is responsibility on our shoulders to act by any means we can afford.

I salute people like you to show concern and try to create awareness of situation.
May God bless you, Amen.

Saddam Hussein gassed thousands of innocent Kurds. Children foamed at the mouth while breathing was agony. He tortured many others. He was a tyrant to eliminate.
