Trolling refers to posting questions purely to provoke an emotional response. Trolls are people who get their kicks out of making fun of people or making people angry or upset.

I agree with LaVey. It means lurking around (usually chat or forums) and pouncing on people when they have an error in logic or spelling, or just a different point of view. In real life you might call them an jerk.
