they did a study on twins seperated from birth and a large majority of them had the same traits, for instance they talked about how when one twin showed aggressive behavior they both had it, majority of the ones locked up or were on probation the other twin was going through the same thing, so doesnt this show how having the right makeup can be a advantage toward religions beliefs

It appears that these statistics have been gathered only from twins showing unusual and problem aggressive personalities. Many mental conditions are passed down through genes. Also, twins having been separated at birth also is an environmental situation which would cause different reactions from those reared with their siblings (could be the family was separated because of prenatal drug use or alcoholism or many other reasons).

I think these conclusions are flawed as well because in most cases of identical twins that I have heard of, one is usually more dominate. As are just about any two people in the world when put together.

And, pardon me, I fail to see how any of this has to do with religious belief.

I would have to say no I don't think it should make a difference. We are all different people but we all the the ability (providing we are sane) to make the choice to do something or not to do it. I may have more agressiveness inbred in me than you do, but that can be turned to good or evil. My choice.

I think that it can determine the method of religious expression that you choose. People who are quiet and comfortable with silence by nature can adapt well to living in a monastic order, for example.

Genetics are very strong. Criminality is shown to run in families. So wouldn't you say God is giving some people an instant disadvantage?
Nonetheless, your question is muddled, so how would one answer it correctly????

We all bear genetic traits that favor one arena or another. I would say that if your religion honors aggression then more aggressive genetic traits would help you out.
