Does anybody know the exact beliefs of that church? There are videos posted all over the Internet, and it shows that they "thank God for dead soldiers" and that they "hate homosexuals" and all this stuff? What's going on???

Really, is this what keeps most people in religion?

A lot of times, there are questions asked about whether or not certain things are wrong or are "sins." Examples of such things are making a certain life decision, listening to a certain type of music, watching a certain type of movie, etc. When you investigate why the person asking the question would think that such a thing might be wrong or a sin, you (or I do) find out that what they are really asking is "Will I go to Hell for doing this?" It's not necessarily that they want to be sure they are doing good; they are just worried that they might be angering God, which would cause Him to cast them into eternal damnation when they die. Likewise, when I am doing something that some religious people might deem a "sin" (refer to examples given above), they usually ask me "Would you want to stand before God in judgment and explain why you did that?"

So, to keep this as short as possible, I'll turn this over to the answerers.

When God was creating Adam all Angels were worried about the creation as Humans will do the bloodshed on Earth. How did they know that human will do the bloodshed on earth? They know only what they experienced or what God told them. On the base of this do you think that there was a world before God Creat Adam and they had a day of judgement?

I am moving back to Florida (daytona) after 14 years- i am very active in my church were i live now - i want to find a church that has the same teachings as "Livingway" Pentecostal in Lake Charles La. - It is a free spirited church - Pastor lets the Holy spirit lead -

If someone walks in with purple hair and tattos they are "loved " just as much as the church family thats been there for years.
If anyone knows of a welcoming church that {knows}
JESUS IS LORD OF LORD and is coming back for his spotless :church: bride (soon)-
please answer - thank you in advance*

'We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to exempt the Roman Catholic Church and all Faith adoption agencies from the requirements of the Government's proposed new Gay Rights laws...'You can add your name to this petition here:http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Adoptionprotest/

It runs counter to every British principle of the rights of committed people of Faith to practice that faith, to force them to operate in a way which denies them their beliefs and conscience. It is not acceptable to those of Catholic persuasion - or indeed many others within the Christian or other Faith communities to require them to place adopted youngsters with homosexual couples. It is an intolerable intrusion by the State into personal commitment and religious belief.

Faith based adoption agencies are discriminated in the name of political correctness.

Let's say you stand before your 3 gods, and Jesus wants you to go to heaven but god wants you to go to hell....do you immediately start trying to sweet talk the holy spirit into taking your side?
Does it go to a majority vote?
There must be some decision making, otherwise you wouldn't need an advocate.

I did it a couple of times a while back. There are usually only a couple of theists who catch it yet many people make up all sorts of justifications for why it must be true.

Why do you think that is?

Who decides? Is the establishment of a National Military and Police Force enough to gain God's favor in murder? How about private citizen's? Can we use our own judgement to decide when its OK?
