Sure, Jeebus can walk on water, but I can live in it. Who's more awesome? I'll forgive him if he turns it into wine, so I can actually get drunk.

This is in regard to someones else's question regarding abortion... Since abortion is legal and some people consider a fetus nothing but tissue, cells, etc, why does the same government that allows abortion of said fetus, ALSO consider it murder when their definition of a fetus is that its NOT a living being???

Does it really work? that's the question everybody is asking at the moment, does it work or is it a coincident? well recently I told my dad about the law of attraction and he was pretty optimistic about it and even put it into action himself. Well my dad is a person with a strong faith which is an advantage in using the law.

He had taken the steps and actually BELIEVE that he has the cash in the millions, he even went to a Lamborghini and Ferrari car shop preparing to buy it. He was also trying to buy a huge mansion, "news flash" he doesn't even have that kind of money yet! then suddenly POOF he won the lottery and became a millionaire!!!

So is it a COINCIDENT or the LAW of ATTRATION??????

Most Christians are trying to prove to the world God exist, while simultaneously trying to prove that the Mormons are wrong. Ironically if they embraced Mormonism they would see the testimony of Joseph Smith that he saw God the Father and Jesus Christ. His testimony is written in every book of Mormon . Isn’t that funny? do you know how many different speicies of animals there are? It would have had to be the size of a big city. plus to put enough food and supplies on the ark to take care of all of these amimals. not to mention the fact that Noaha and his family were the only ones there to take care of all of these creachers. It would be impossible.

My daughter is going to camp this summer, a WONDERFUL place called Camp Rockfish (www.rockfishoutdoorcenter.org), and they will be having bible studies, etc. during the camping session. I'm wanting to get her a bible that will be able to stand up to the weather, and possibly being thrown back into her duffle bag, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions? I did see one that was NT only, but would like to find the whole bible. Thanks!

If a mother for example has uterine cancer, for example and needs her uterus removed (a hysterectomy), an abortion, in other words, because otherwise she would die. SUrely it would not be a sin in this scenario? It would be very sad, yes, but not a sin?

How about if this woman had many more young children that depended on her? Would that have a greater bearing on the situation?

Furthermore, if through an ultrasound it is found that the foetus is secerely disformed, I'm not talking about narmal disformaties, I am talking about serious ones which would mean that the child would only survive for a matter of hours on birth, would an abotrion be ok the?

How about Pre Implantation Genetic Diagnosis, which tests embryos created in vitro for genetic illnesses, is it ok to implant the healthy embryos and not the unhealthy ones?

Why do we have laws that interfere with me establishing my dominance over weaker members of my species or of stronger members exerting their superiority over me

2007-03-14 09:05:02 · 12 answers · asked by Quantrill 7

The Bible thrives on being "high and lofty". Something out-of-reach is its' signature. The Bible has been manipulated, concealed and now misunderstood. How can God be the direct author of such darkness and aloofness that fills this "black book of woes." People have been dying, still are dying, and will continue to die, if we don't find a solution to this God paradox.
