Or an opposite? And if this was true, if we somehow combined two reciprocals (like we do in abstract math) in the real world, what would happen?
Eg: When you combine matter and anti-matter, you get an enormous burst of energy.

I hear many (not all, please realize I know that) Christians on here excusing their behavior for many things because they say they are not perfect, and that's why Jesus was sent, but it seems they are things within their control, like telling people they are going to hell, or other similar nasty unnecessary things.

Do some Christians just feel they are saved and don't need to work at it? I'm honestly curious. In my spirituality I feel it is very important to have reflecting time everyday and to try to be a better person everyday. If I make a mistake I don't hate myself for it, but I do expect certain things from myself, and can be hard on myself so that I'll improve.

Does this religion give leeway to making excuses?

If so, what does that say about it's role in spiritual development?

i heard that monks have a pure mind which is clean, what did they do in the temple that makes their mind pure?

Doesn't the fact that monkeys aren't bipedal prove that humans and monkeys are completely unrelated? If you saw a human who could walk erect and another human who couldn't, wouldn't you assume that the two aren't related?

For the same reason, humans can't be related to monkeys! There are too many differences. I can't think of a single similarity between humans and chimpanzees that is any less superficial than, say, the similarity between a rhinoceros and a rhinoceros beetle! Can you?

I mentioned this site in passing the other day, but I thought it was worth bringing up again, because I really can't work out if it's a very clever parody or a very scary serious concept. My husband had the same reaction - we'd so like to believe it's a joke, but there are a lot of wack-jobs out there....

So, please peruse and opine on the following

How do a handle rude atheists on here and in real life? Do I ignore them or bite back? I have tried ignoring them but I get too depressed and my emotions just want to fight back 100 times more. Jesus said turn the other check, but that is difficult don't you agree. I was diagnosed with bowel cancer last year, as I refused treatement and did not want to do anything about it, and the reason I left it early this year is becasue I wanted to die and go home to Heaven and not be cured, but I had a praying mother who is a registred nurse and she got many members of her church to pray for healing, and yes God resoted me. I had a colonoscopy last Monday it to everyones suprise it was clear, and I have had no more problems with my bowels since not even bleeding a lot from my bowel, and my lympnods have returend to normal. There is a few people on here that calls me a lier. Were they there when I was ill? No. My mother was. So Christians I better be careful on who I tell and do not tell,

Pretend you're God, and you want to convey Truth to your creations. Why use a book, especially when so few people could read?

Put yourself back in Jesus' time, or even earlier during the Old-Testament time. People just believed what the holy men told them, because they couldn't read this book God had had written for them.

Don't you think God would have used a more efficient method?

I'm not saying the bible can't be useful. But why is it necessary? Doesn't God have other ways of showing us Truth, like when we sit in nature quietly?

So many people use things like a child's smile, a beautiful sunset, and true love to "prove" God. If that's proof enough, again, why do we need the bible? NEED, as in, we can't be good enough for God without it, as so many Christians believe.

Prajna-paramita is the wellspring of peaceful emptiness
Originates from our body, speech and mind
Destroys the dark web of ignorance

The nature of prajna is beyond language

Whoever enlightened the three worldly realms will destruct.

True prajna, the wisdom light illuminates
Transforming ignorance into omniscient Tagatha mind
Eighty thousand sufferings of the worldly life
In essence is the intrinsic nature of eternal peace of nirvana.

If we throw the dice, the chance of obtaining double 6 is (1 in 36). What this means is that on average if we throw the dice 1000 times, the chances are that we should get double 6 around 27 times. Now if we throw the dice 1000 times and we obtain double 6 every single throw then there is a design, a system or a controlling force behind the throws. We can hardly call it chance.

The science of Genetics offers vivid evidence that chance could not be a factor in the process of creation due to the very precise combinations necessary in the building of cells. These requisite combinations defy all laws of probabilities.

On a larger scale, We only need to look at the universe to be able to marvel at the endless examples of precision and beautiful design. Every field of scientific knowledge seems to testify to the existence of a master creator. It does not seem difficult to dismiss the possibility of chance.
