There are almost 13 million members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints (aka Mormon) around the world. The majority of these people live outside the United States, and this number continues to grow every day.

The mormon church is having difficulties keeping their members.
According to a June 2006 article in the Salt Lake Tribune, the mormon church has more than 12 million members world wide with only 4 million of those members being active.
The article also states that a census that was taken in Brazil in 2000 claims that <200,000 Brazilians claim to be mormons while the church claims that 740,000+ Brazilians were members of the church.

Over 12.5 million. By the end of the year they will be close to reaching 13 million; more members reside outside of the United States than in.

Somewhere in the vacinity of 100 million. Apparently, that cult is a major world religion. It's numbers are getting closer to Islam. Plus, (don't ask me WHY) they have the highest conversion/new member rate of ANY of the world's major religions.
