How can one possibly believe that that nothing was in existence until 6,000 years ago (Supernovas and Triceratops alike) and that we all come from Adam and Eve, who had children who would then mate with each other and produce more children, which would lead to a population which God would destroy in a flood 4,500 years ago, of which the one surviving family would mate with each other and produce the rest of humanity, including us?

Has the role of women in spirituality generally and historically been dumbed down since the lessoning of goddess religions?
( Pease remember that goddess whorship still is practiced by millions of people in India and many elswhere.)

Is the world ready for greater leadership from women? What are the forces that are trying to suppress the spiritual leadership of women to your mind? I want to now what you think.

Thanks!

why do u teach that everyone can be "gods"? and that Jesus was one of the gods.

isn't this a same old lie that the devil has told us all the time - "that you shall be like GOD"

okay well i was playing a game on neopets "eye of the storm" where you had to find this ship tile with like 100 tiles all flipped over and if you clicked a tile it would point you in the right direction anyways i always got a feeling of where the ship tile was (upper right corner, upper left corner, etc.) so i always got it in like 10-17 clicks but then for two turns in a row i clicked THE SHIP TILE OUT OF 100 TILES i got the ship tile not once but twice in a row!! it freaked me out so i quit it but what do you think predicting one tile being it out of 200 is that at least a little freaky and maybe an indicater im a little psychic??

Now, we are very familiar with the same typical and predictable questions abut atheism, Christianity, Islam and other religions here.
A true religious person won't come here to waste his time; cuz almost nothing is considered and taken seriously. Even he'll get lots of thumbs down no matter how knowledgeable or scholar he is.
We all well-aware of it.

But then, what exactly you looking for?

For me, I come here to pass time with some witty heads and to learn a bit.

Share what you have to say.
Thanks.

God was supposed to have created the Human race in his likeness, but I've heard that Humans are supposed to be some kind of experimentation of his, like how we run tests on lab mice, so the question I ask is this -

Would Humans be the only creation of God in the entire universe, or would you think that he would have created other races of people (aliens, if you will) on other planets? Give some reasons why you would or would not think so, please?

Judging by the fact that only a handful of responses to questions are actually answers that relate to the question while the majority just spew ignorance and hatred, maybe R&S should be renamed?

Haha, I always feel so guilty about stepping on them, but there's nothing worse than seeing a centipede scurry across your bedroom floor into a pile of clothes that conveniently happened to be on the floor also. Eek. :[

Obviously, your answer can not be "Same creator!!" because then you are saying that all the other animals were created by someone else.

Christianity has to be true because there are just too many coincidences. The Old Testament talks about a savior coming forth and then Jesus was born.

Also, the New Testament talks about the end of the world and look what's happening now. The historical evidence is clear. No other religion is backed up by science and history as Christianity is.

Nothing in the Bible cannot be scientifically explained with the exception of a few miracles and these come from God. There is scientific evidence of the existance of Abraham and Moses and the ark that Noah built as been found in satellite images.

No one has brought it down yet, but people have brought back bits of wood.

The Bible is infallible and 100% accurate and the word of God.

Scientists who have sense agree. Do you?

I have used a ouija board and it told me things that came true. for example it told me and and my Mom something a bout a somebodies cardoor, and that we were going to have trouble with my sisters exboyfriend. like a couple weeks or months later, my mom accidently backed up into my sister boyfriends drivers side car door. This isnt the only thing to come true. does anybody have any advice(non-skeptical)for me, or views on my situation,

Does it really work? that's the question everybody is asking at the moment, does it work or is it a coincident? well recently I told my dad about the law of attraction and he was pretty optimistic about it and even put it into action himself. Well my dad is a person with a strong faith which is an advantage in using the law.

He had taken the steps and actually BELIEVE that he has the cash in the millions, he even went to a Lamborghini and Ferrari car shop preparing to buy it. He was also trying to buy a huge mansion, "news flash" he doesn't even have that kind of money yet! then suddenly POOF he won the lottery and became a millionaire!!!

So is it a COINCIDENT or the LAW of ATTRATION??????

Rational
-adj.
1. Having or exercising the ability to reason.
2. Of sound mind; sane.
3. Consistent with or based on reason; logical.

Are God's actions and commands based on reason and logic, or are they based on emotions and instincts?

If God's commands are based on reason and logic, why are reason and logic so rarely used to convince humanity to follow them? Why do religions instead demand that we follow God's commands simply because God and/or ancient texts say so?

Wouldn't explaining the reason and logic of God's commands to "nonbelievers" be a better way to convince them to follow them?

Or do God's actions and commands lack reason and logic and therefore they must be followed simply because he says so?
