This isnt the only thing to come true. does anybody have any advice(non-skeptical)for me, or views on my situation,

Hi Julie,

Ouija boards are a form of communicating with the dead.
As many a Christian will tell you it's evil, I thought I'd give you a point of view from someone who actively studies and uses arcane knowledge.

There are many forms of scrying available, I personally use a combination of Tarot and empathy most of the time, but can also use several other methods. Ouija boards however, I will rarely touch. They are chaotic and dangerous and they often invoke more than you wish to be dealing with.

My advice to you is to find another method. Take this as proof of something beyond what you already know. Even as proof that there are occult and arcane practices with an actual basis in fact, despite the fact than many disbelieve.

If you insist on continuing to use the Ouija board, please do some research on magical protection. About 20% of the time, you'll be needing it.

This story is about my family's use of the ouija.

This happened about 40 years ago. It is a scary story.

One Christmas, my father looked for a present for my older brother. In desperation he picked a ouija board. My brother was in the first year of university. After Christmas, he and my youngest sister started using the board alot. They could even get it to spell words.

Later when I did not see it I asked my mother if she knew what happened to it. She took me aside and told me this story.

It was about a week after Christmas and she had stayed up late reading. My brother came down the stairs and mom said she could immediately tell something was wrong. His face was as white as a sheet and he was trembling. Now mom has eight children and had thought she had seen about everything. She was not prepared for what happened next. My brother asked if he could sit in mom's lap and if she could just hug him. (Remember he was twenty years old.) He then related to her that he had had a horrible dream, but it was more evil, vile, and real, than anything he had ever dreamt before. He still remembered it in detail. He was scared. Mom finally calmed him down and after about an hour he was able to go back to bed. (I found out later that he did not sleep for two days.)

She went down back down stairs asking herself what could have caused such a thing. Then she thought about the ouija board. That was it. She had to get rid of it, but how? She would burn it in the fire place. It took her about 15 minutes to get the fire really hot. She then went into the dining room where the ouija was kept. She said that as she got nearer to the board, she felt an evil presence there too. She picked up the board, and went back to the fire. Then something strange happened. She had a very difficult time throwing the ouija into the fire. (When I saw "The Lord of the Rings" and Frodo had trouble thowing the ring into the fire, I was vividly reminded of my mother's story.) She said she finally overcame this presence and threw the ouija in the fire. It was then that she heard the blood curdling cries and moans. They were coming from the board. In desperation she threw more wood on the fire until the moaning ended. Needless to say she did not get much sleep that night. (I have goosebumps from my head to my toes remembering what mom told me.)

My advice "Stay away from that damned ouija!!"

I know you're not looking for skeptics, but I want you to think about this for a minute:

If you believe in the power of a Ouija board, what you're basically saying is that there is a toy that you can buy in Toys 'R Us that can potentially harm you. And even though we currently live in an age when a product is IMMEDIATELY taken off the market and banned if it poses even the SLIGHTEST danger to a child, they keep selling it -- and have been selling it for over a hundred years.

If that makes sense to you, then fine, but I just want you to think about that.

Oiuja boards are dangerous things which I never understand can be so available at supermarkets and toy stores. It is anything but a toy. My experience is that the one time we fooled around with one we had poltergeists attached to us for years and we even had the misfortune of living in a house with a restless ghost for seven loooong years. Maybe you have been lucky so far, but dont push it. This is no joking matter.

I personally believe that the powers behind the Ouija boards is demonic. Read Kurt Koch's, Occult ABC

My mom had some encounters that .... if they would have come from someone else's mouth, I would not have believed. My mom was the most sane and skeptical person you could come across too. I believed her account of the night she used this portal, and I don't dare touch one because of the look she had on her face as she told this story.

These boards are NOT toys like they were first marketed. They can work, I know this myself first hand. Yet my experience's were not positive so I'd say just be very careful with it. You channel spirits and some are helpful and some want to mess with your life in bad ways. Good Luck!!!

They have been proven false. You should the episode of penn & teller Bulls hit where they deal with ouiji boards. they take a group of people, and then blindfold them and ask "a spirit" questions. At first there hands go to the yes and no, but then they flip the ouiji board around without them knowing and their hands go to the same spots :D it's funny

I have used a Ouija board, NOTHING!
But maybe it was me, and my friends, why it did not work!
Try calling for Captain Howdy, next time you try!
And ask for the lottery numbers.

I think they are false. I have done plenty of them and all the stuff that I was told didn't come true. I think they just play with your head so much and then when something does actually happen you think back to it and think that it is the board telling the truth.
Does that make sense?
