Diary of an Unborn Child
OCTOBER 5:
Today my life began. My parents do not know it yet, but it is I already. And I am to be a girl. I shall have blond hair and blue eyes. Just about everything is settled though, even the fact that I shall love flowers.
OCTOBER 19:
Some say that I am not a real person yet, that only my mother exists. But I am a real person, just as a small crumb of bread is yet truly bread. My mother is. And I am.
OCTOBER 23:
My mouth is just beginning to open now. Just think, in a year or so I shall be laughing and later talking. I know what my first word will be: MAMA.
OCTOBER 25:
My heart began to beat today all by itself. From now on it shall gently beat for the rest of my life without ever stopping to rest! And after many years it will tire. It will stop, and then I shall die.
NOVEMBER 2:
I am growing a bit every day. My arms and legs are beginning to take shape. But I have to wait a long time yet before those little legs will raise me to my mother’s arms, before these little arms will be able to gather flowers and embrace my father.
NOVEMBER 12:
Tiny fingers are beginning to form on my hands. Funny how small they are! I’ll be able to stroke my mother’s hair with them.
NOVEMBER 20:
It wasn’t until today that the doctor told mom that I am living here under her heart. Oh, how happy she must be! Are you happy, mom?
NOVEMBER 25:
My mom and dad are probably thinking about a name for me. But they don’t even know that I am a little girl. I want to be called Kathy. I am getting so big already.
DECEMBER 10:
My hair is growing. It is smooth and bright and shiny. I wonder what kind of hair mom has?
DECEMBER 13:
I am just about able to see. It is dark around me. When mom brings me into the world it will be full of sunshine and flowers. But what I want more than anything is to see my mom. How do you look, mom?
DECEMBER 24:
I wonder if mom hears the whispering of my heart? Some children come into the world a little sick. But my heart is strong and healthy. It beats so evenly: tup-tup, tup-tup. You’ll have a healthy little daughter, mom!
DECEMBER 28:
Today my mother killed me.

Yes abortion is murder. Who could even think of killing a helpless precious baby. But we have no comfort for them because they weren't even given the chance, and normally when a child die we give words of comfort to the parents, but in this case the mother is the murderer, do people realize how sick that is. If a mother purposely kills her 1 hour old baby it is considered totally sick and murder what is the difference between that and abortion.
I can't believe that some people use abortion as birth control. Abstinence works so so much better. Thou shalt not commit adultery, and since all sex outside of marriage is adultery we could solve a lot of of the abortion problems if we just followed the rules layed out by God in the beginning. And if your married and don't want kids, or abstinence isn't in your vocabulary there is something called birth control pills, they are so so much better that abortion.
To me abortion is just another killing of the innocents, and is just as bad as what King Herod did at the birth of Jesus.

Are there any Biblical commandments specifically against abortion?
Amos 1:13 - Ammon condemned by God for "ripping up the pregnant women"
Exodus 21:22-23 - Accidentally hurting a pregnant woman and causing her child to die got you the death penalty.
Life is precious to God and should be to Christians.
Gen 1:26-27 - We are created in God's image
Acts 17:25 - Life is a gift from God
Rom 13:9 - You will NOT kill!
Taking innocent life is an abomination before God.
The Bible makes no distinction between pre/post natal babies.
Jeremiah 1:4-5 - Jeremiah chosen as a prophet before birth
Psalm 139:13-16 - David pre-ordained for service to God while in the womb
2 Kings 19:3 - pre-born babies called children
Does this mean life begins at conception?
The Greek word for baby (brephos) is used interchangeably in the New Testament for pre and post natal babies. It is used for the baby in
Elizabeth's womb (Luke 1:41). Also commonly used for post natal babies.

You need to read your bible a little more carefully: nowhere does it say "Thou Shalt Not Kill" (In fact God is pretty fond of killing in the Old Testament). What it says is "Thou Shalt Not Murder", and 'murder' is the taking of a human life. Since the Old Testament very clearly defines "life" as starting when the Jewish version of God "breathes life" into a new-born, a Biblical literalist ought to have no problem with abortion up to a few minutes before natural birth!

It depends on when you pinpoint the beginning of human life.
Personally, I don't think a fetus can be considered alive until its celebral cortex is fully formed, which occurs in the sixth month. When this part of the brain is developed, the fetus can feel emotion. (As for the pain argument, it has been shown that the nervous systems of fetuses are too broken up to actually allow them to feel pain.) So, I think abortion's fine until that point, which is when I can safely call it "murder" in my books.
Of course, that's only my opinion on it. People who believe that human life begins when the sperm meets egg will obviously have a different opinion on abortion. And that's all the whole argument is based around: when people think that a fetus becomes a living human, and this differs between people.

Take the verse in context and additionally you will see that's an unauthorized, unlawful killing that into consideration. Justified killing isn't condemned. Such justified killing is such killing as capital punishment inflicted via authorized governments as punishment for crimes. the ten Commandments are in Exodus 20. in many different places, the Bible does authorize killing as punishment, including in Exodus 21, the financial disaster as we talk after the financial disaster with the ten Commandments. as a result, "Thou shalt not homicide" is the extra desirable translation in the verse in question.

You want to talk to aborted fetuses? And comfort them?
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Dont think for one moment that your christian religion is perfect - just because you want to protect the unborn babies.
Even President Bush is a murderer. He signed the death warrents of hundreds of men while he was Governor of Texas. And he claims to be a christian.
