The commandment is: "Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy...... the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD....." yet, most Christians consider Sunday, (the 1st day of the week) to be the day of rest and worship. How did this happen?

He has been in exile since 1959. And over the last 48 years the commies have kept their firm grip on Tibet. Not to mention slowly eradicating Buddhism as a religion in Tibet. Today Tibetan chairman Champa Phuntsok said, "Forty-eight years has passed since then, and in that time the Dalai Lama has done nothing beneficial for the Tibetan people and his motherland." Nothing but not be a puppet for a hostile and unwanted regime. Not to mention spreading global awareness of what goes on in Tibet, as well as the Buddhist way of life. The commies really don't have a leg to stand on with their human rights record. Going against such a peaceful, and pleasant man that so many around the world adore. I hope that he will have the chance to return but sadly I don't think it will happen.

I'm not a christian but i believe in God. I can't see any other way in explaining how the universe was created. We didn't just "show up", something had to have put us here. If you don't believe in anything, then how can you explain your own existence? For me God is this. First single celled organisms combine to make organs, then organs make large organisms, organisms make organizations, which make cities, states, countries, and continents, which make the Earth (which is also a living conscious thing) which makes the solar system and the Universe. And the Universe is the collective of all things, and it is ONE GIANT conscious organism which is GOD.

This is a disgusting, murderous organization that is the leading funder of abortion. Last year alone, they used 165 million dollars of our tax money for these awful things.

I'm so glad that Congress is now alerted to this fact and getting involved now. I do not want my hard-earned tax dollars going to support this un-Godly organization.

I came hear about these characters in a recent question here @yahoo answers. why do we need the God father and the God mother for a child to be baptized if one of the parent is not catholic? As u can see these characters were never mentioned in the Holy Bible and Jesus never asked the people to do so....

Someone shared a video with me today, about the subtle differences between brainwashing and mind control with false religions. Cults are usually understood as being brainwashed, but do you think it's possible for someone to have their mind controlled without being brain washed? I've always thought the two went together. OK, at our school we have the pledge every day and then a "moment of silence" for prayer. Well, I hardly get to pray any because it's so short and the teachers ignore it and they just use it as time to start assigning work. IT'S A DISGRACE!!! Ya know? I've noticed since they've taken prayer out of school, there have been more people on drugs, dropping out, feeling worthless, more fights, more bomb threats, etc. WHAT DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD DO ABOUT THIS???

I don't understand this question, which makes it hard for to search for a correct answer. The problem I am having is with the theological foundation part, what is a theological foundations pertaining to Judaism. I know that theological means based upon the nature and will of God as revealed to humans, and it also mean: of, pertaining to, or involved with theology, but which one goes with this question for Judaism. I am utterly confused on this. Please help. If you had this question, how would you answer it. I will admit this is a question for my assignment, I just need help on this one. This is my last question for this assignment and I am at a stand still. HELP!!!!
