There's always a middle man in business and organized religion is, if nothing else, a business.

Omnipotence is an attribute which means unlimited in power - without limitations to action. This attribute is paradoxical and can be shown as impossible through the following argument:

Question: Can an omnipotent entity, X, create a rock that X can not lift?

If yes, then X is not omnipotent; if no, then X is not omnipotent.

Therefore, X is not omnipotent.

"Omnipotence" tries to define a concept only by lack of definitions. This is where it goes wrong. A concept is an integration, it takes a number of entities, abstracts away certain measurements, and ends up with a new combined whole. "Omnipotence" tries to take a concept, "ability", and integrate it with contradiction, "unbounded", which violates the axiom of identity. The result is a term which seems to mean something, but is in contradiction with reality and existence and is rationally unusable.

No intermediary is needed. That is one of the major problems Islam has with the other Judeo-Christian religions...they set up intermediaries. Islam believes in a direct relationship with no one between you and God.

You don't need an intermediary to communicate with Him. Paul said, "Behold I go before the throne of grace BOLDLY....", meaning that he could seek God's face in prayer on his own instead of appealing to the priesthood. The ministry's purpose is to teach and appeal to people concerning the ways of salvation and God will in their lives. As an old saying goes, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink". This is all the modern ministry can do! Lead us by example, teach us by the Word, and pray for us, but only for the sake of our spiritual well being. WE have to reach God ourselves for our salvation.

I don't need an intermediary to communicate. No Christian has made that statement.

Do we have here another atheist, thinking that they know the Bible better than Christians, but asking a question at this level?

This seems greater like an commercial or a rant. yet what, precisely is your question? i don't have self assurance Jesus is God nor do I subscribed to the Trinity Doctrine. I do have self assurance in God. Is God ever-modern-day, all-understanding, and all-effective? understanding no limitations? i won't be able to argue one way or the different because is a controversy of subjective ideals. What i be responsive to is that we've loose will. subsequently, God can not administration our loose will. basically we can. So i assume, he's not thoroughly all-effective. If he have been, we does not have loose will. we'd be God-bots. in any different case, shop on Starship Captain.

You don't. In God you have the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Those 3 you communicate with at the same time. Each part makes your desires known to one another. You can't speak to the Son without speaking to the Father and Holy Spirit. You can't speak to the Father without speaking to the son and Holy Spirit, etc. The Holy Spirit is in you are you don't have access to the other two.

I do not believe we need an intermediary to be able to communicate with God. Some, but not all Catholics practice this. I am not Catholic. pssst

Have you always keep God first? Have you always love Him over everything else?

Try these questions also.

Are you a good person? What a question, most of us believe that we are good people because we can look around and find someone that is far worse than we are. We can always point to the things that we think make us a good person.

But how good are we really? Dare we take this test and look at ourselves and see if we really are good? Hmmm.

If you are willing try this and see just how good a person you are.

The Good Person Test.

How will you do? Pass or fail?

Have you ever told a lie?
Doesn't matter how big or small, just a lie.
What does that make you? Before answering think about this, if I told you a lie what would you call me? A liar?

Have you ever stolen anything? Cost doesn't matter, a piece of gum, failed to give back an ink pen that you borrowed, anything.
What does that make you?

Jesus said, "You know the saying of old, you shall not commit adultery but I say that if look at someone to lust after them you have committed adultery in your heart.
Have you ever lusted?

Jesus said that hate is equal to murder.
Have you ever hated anyone?

See one day we all are going to stand before a Holy God on Judgment Day and he is going to judge us based on His Holy Law, the Ten Commandments. These are just 4 of them and how did you do? Guilty? I have broken all of these and more, what about you? How well will you do on Judgment Day?

If we break just one point of God's Law we are guilty of breaking all the law and Gods Wrath abides upon us all. Based on God's Law we are all guilty and all are deserving of punishment. But there is an out for us.

Jesus paid the price for each one of us, took on himself God's Wrath so we wouldn't have to face it on our own. Jesus was beaten, battered, bleed and died so we wouldn't have to face God's Wrath. He rose again so that we would life in his presence. Our crimes, His payment.

The real question is where will you stand on Judgment Day. Pay yourself or have it paid for you. Think about it.

Are you already a Realist? - Do you find yourself thinking about reality? Do you think that it's important that what you believe in is actually real? Do you think for yourself rather than just believing what you are told to believe? When you counsel friends on important matters, do you advise them to take reality into consideration? Do you believe the world would be better off if reality were a more important part of society? if you answered YES to these questions you may already be a Realist.

Because we were told by an intermediary that only they could talk to God for us.
