A Person wether a Gentile a Jew or Muslim who believes Jesus Christ is the risen Messiah is classified a Christian. Do the Jews realize the Apostles who happen to be all Jews spoke only to the Jews (FIRST) about Jesus as the Jewish Messiah. It was the Jews in Cypress who told Paul they had been called Jewish Christians so how is Christianity a religion?

Do you think thier are Jewish and Gentile Christians? if not what were the Apostles?, and are you saying every Jew in Ancient Israel were not Jews anymore who believed Jesus was the Messiah?

That's not much of a choice! Choose to use it, and choose the wrong way, and be damned for eternity. Why would God even give us free will if He would damn those to hell for making a decision of their free will? Also, God knows the future and all things, therefore he knows are decisions in advance. How is this free will? It does not compute, and seems at odds with God Himself. Thoughts?

And of the "God works in mysterious ways", that seems a copout, coming from a fellow Christian (liberal though I may beto some degree as I do not take the Bible literally although I do believe the stories happened, but tempered with what we know of science and the real world today as people then relayed their stories in the ways they knew without the benefits of explanation of modern science)

If God is willing to prevent evil, but is not able to
Then He is not omnipotent.

If He is able, but not willing
Then He is malevolent.

If He is both able and willing
Then whence cometh evil?

If He is neither able nor willing
Then why call Him God?

How many do you think are just doing another job, and are going through the motions? I know there are some, but I just wonder how many.

I know a lot about many different subjects, and to my eye, most of what appears in the WIkipedia seems to be as accurate as any other popular source of information. This might not be the case when one gets into more subjective or controversial information, but overall I don't see much to support the popular contention that the Wikipedia is a refuge for morons and tinfoil hat wearers.

Would this not be occult and therefore divination? For this we will be damned to hell unless we repent? I can repent and then the horoscope will be staring me in the eyes next time I open the paper. Do we repent every day? The majority of people DO read their horoscopes, whether they believe they will come true or not. Will they all be condemned to an eternity of fire for this seemingly innocent daily activity?

I recently saw a documentary where a creationist believer was speaking to an auditorium filled with children and said God, not scientists or man, has been around forever so only believe what God says.
That sent chills up my spine to see our children being taught to not seek factual evidence that could lead to different answers than God...just do what you're told.
"God" is a powerful name, read the Bible and replace the name God with Floyd, it may make a difference when you're told that because something in life isn't understood or can't be explained...it's Floyd's work. Would you live you're life according to Floyd?
Why not teach faith and practice in fairness, honesty, kindness, forgiveness, hard work, compassion, charity, integrity and all the other wonderful values that the Bible speaks of and encourage children to explore and discover answers to questions that haven't even been asked yet?
