I do not read my "horrorscope" because it is a waste of my time. The ones put into the paper are so vague it borders on rediculous and is only for entertainment purposes.
And this is the reason that most people read their "horrorscope", for entertainment purposes. But those that go to tarot readers or those who are doing personal horrorscopes, this is where the real danger begins.
If the person is just being conned then they are deluding themselves into believing something is true when it is just a lie.
If the horrorscope is real then it is spirit worship, witchcraft and divination. All of these are worse than the former.
Will they be condemned for partaking of a seemingly innocent daily activity? No. They will be condemened because they have not believed on the Name of the Son of God. (John 3:18)

Ive read my horoscope from time to time. Do i feel that this makes me a Pagan?...Not in the least. Ive also read some fiction in my day, as entertainment...by your standard, i would be practicing occult in doing this. Get real. Christians are humans with human thoughts, and needs just like you. Reading something for entertainment and believing/living your life around what you read are two completely different things.

No. Really I don't.
Why would the light from stars travelling years be able to predict my future?
Seem to me that is the past........
And by the way, the majority of people I know could care less about their horoscope and don't read it.
Atheists and Christians alike.

You have a good point. I sometimes read my horoscope just for fun. I never really believe that it will come true. I am an active christian too. but you have a point. Although I wouldn't worry about it too much as long as you don't take it seriously

Reading your horoscope is no different than reading your Bible.
Both are fictions written by people.
Both are so vague that one can interpret anything and see themselves.
Both are pointless
Both have followers who are wasting their short lives following nonsense.
Humans are a "pattern seeking animal" after all...we evolved that way. It is only natural to read something very generic and attempt to find a connection with your own experience.

Read my horoscope? Only when I need a laugh. I'm still waiting for the "tall, dark stranger" who'll sweep me off me feet as promised three years ago.
No, I don't think anyone will be condemned for reading that junk. It's about as occult as me hitting darts on a board and saying that's what will happen in the future. It's all made up.

I don't see what the problem is...
I mean, after all, astrology is *just as valid* as christianity -- they're both mythical, superstitious beliefs for which there is no evidence of any kind.
And since the christian mindset is all about believing in things for which there is no evidence, accepting myth as fact, and being convinced that there's some "power out there" controlling their lives...planet and star power is just as valid as mythical god power.
I mean, it's not like this would be the only hypocritical thing they do, ya know? The vast majority of 'em don't follow their leader's teachings or do what their holy book tells them to do anyway...so what does it matter if they indulge in yet another hypocrisy that involves superstitious myth? Whatever...:)
Peace.

Let's not be silly. Casually looking at a horoscope isn't the same as spreading out charts on your table and thinking they actually mean something.
