Thinkers during the Enlightenment challenged the established social order by

I doubt its b or c, imo

It's c (the first c, not the one that should be d). Enlightenment thinkers encouraged scientific governments and seperation of church and state. They weren't against government per se, plenty were religious, and peasent revolts were nonexistent by that time.
