The Jews were pretty cruel I have always stuck up for them but maybe they deserve what they get.
About 60 years after John who wrote Revelation died.
86 year old Polycarp was burned to death in Smyrna because he would not recant his belief in Jesus. The Martyrdom of Polycarp, a woke believed to be contemporaneous with this event, states that when wood was being gatheredd for burning, "the Jews were extremely zealous, as is their custom, in assisting at this= even though the execution took place on "a great Sabbath day"
That is when Passover happens to be on a Sabbath day.
Yet in the bible there are accounts of men dieing for gathering wood on the Sabbath. So to murder this worshipper of Jesus they broke their own laws.
Is that part of the reason people don't like Jews? I never understood why?
