u mean from the same background??! i mean yes their revealation were all from God , and they were for the same , message which is to worship one god and be good ........
we Muslims, of course, believe that the message revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a continuation of what had been revealed to both Christians and Jews, and was the completion of it. This is why Muslims honor all previous prophets, but the Jews and the Christians do not honor Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a Prophet.
In terms of similarities, the three religions have much in common. Much of the moral code in all three is shared. All three believe in one God, although the Christian understanding of this is complicated by the idea of the Trinity.
For Muslims, then, Christians and Jews are people of the Book, since Allah spoke to both of them through his prophets and messengers. As Muslims we hold both Judaism and Christianity in high regard, since both grow out of the revelation of Almighty Allah.
however , the Quran remains the only revealation that isnot changed till now , while the others are distorted through time!!!
thanks anyways.

Technically yes, but not really. Both Israelites and Arabs can trace their lineage to Abraham. But that is were it ends. The Israelites came from Isaac, to whom the covenant of land, seed and blessing was passed to. The Arab nation came from Ishmael who was not the child of the promise. Christians can look to Abraham as the father of their faith, but Christianity encompasses both Jew and Gentile, which would include a segment of the Arab nation.

So...what do you like? Coke, Pepsi, or the store brand?
Getting your flock to hate another group is all part and parcel of selling your church. He who has the biggest following has the most tithes.
As for hating Jews? Since they are small group that tends to have few converts (and doesn't actively seek converts), they simply make a convenient target.

Your right. It all started with Abraham. Abraham had two sons, Issac and Ishmael. Issac is considered the father of the people of Israel. Mohammad is supposed to be a descendant of Ishmael.
We are all part of one big dysfunctional family.

I guess you mean why we can not get along? Right? Well, division it's one of satans plots to divide and conquer. Until we are able to work together and love each other, I mean no insults or hate we could move mountains. Till then we will continue to speak with righteousness, arrogance, sarcasm and get nowhere. Hope. God Bless. Love. Amen.

I can see that we're from the same family. I'm a Muslim and I don't like it when people tell me that I'm going to hell, because I don't believe that Jesus was the son of God. I don't condemn other people for not believing what I believe. I respect other people's beliefs. Besides you can't tell a person to believe. That's just wrong.

Islam is based on Christianity. Christianity is based on Judaism. Judaism is based off of ancient Iranian paganism (among other things). Same story, just with a different slant each time.

yes, you're right. they are all from the same family. it's just that since there is a certain amount of rivalry, people don't see it or want to admit it.
