Were you frightened?

I'm pretty sure I understand most of them, but here are the following words I've seen, that people have complained that Christians don't understand.

Evolution
Big-Bang Theory
Aboigenesis
Entropy (I don't know)
Thermodynamics (I know a little.)

Those are all for now. I probably forgot a few, but I'll waste another 5 points on them later. :)
Enjoy the points and thanks for your time.

They can prove that there was a Jesus on earth, but that does not prove that he was a god. All these so called miracles and a paradise after death are nothing more than fairy tails, the same as Santa Claus and the tooth fairy. It's brain washing and the threat of a hell that make people believe that they can go to heaven. There is no proof that there is a God or heaven or hell. No dead relative ever comes back to say that heaven is waiting for us. We will never see our loved ones again. Heaven is just wishful thinking. If there is a hell it's here on earth. There can't possibly be more suffering than what is inflicted on us here. If there was a god there would not be horrible deaths inflicted on wonderful people. Babies wouldn't be dying of cancer or starving to death. Hell is right here and right now and I'll be so glad when my life is over and to feel nothing will be a relief.

Have you ever been mad at God? Do you feel that your anger was justified? Is anger that is directed at God ever justified?

I plan on joining the Peace Corps when I graduate. I am a Christian, but I don't go to Church and believe my relationship with God is private. I told my Christian friend, Joe, who is avidly involved in his church and he scoffed at me, telling me that if he was going to do international community service, he'd go on a missions trip and the Peace Corps was a waste because it's secular (without a religion). I know a part of Christian living is helping others and almsgiving, so is he a jerk for not doing anything (considering he's not going on a mission) or am I a bad Christian because I chose to donate my time to a secular organtization rather than a Christian-based one?

... closed systems? Since the earth is not a closed system, your arguments that Entropy and Thermodynamics make evolution impossible is a complete lie?

Why is that so hard to understand? Or is it simply the denial that allows you to believe in your god?

1 John 2:15-17 "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever."

How many Christians would agree that if there is no Jesus, then there will be no Holy Spirit and no God.

I'm asking for all views on this: Any religion or belief or lack thereof.

When I still believed myself to be a Christian, I truly felt that my sleep paralysis episodes were visitations from demons. As a Christian, the same "demon" would visit me during every episode. As I have rejected the faith, the episodes have become less frequent. I now feel as though these episodes are simply a sleep disorder and have nothing to do with demons.

Offer me your thoughts on this please. I'd like to know other's interpretations of these episodes. Not just how they pertain to me, but to others who experience them.

And don't tell me God is eternal and has always been around. Everything has a beginning. If there is a God, he is not exempt from having a beginning. So you see, it's a paradox....

If you want to say that God has always been around, then I want to tell you that something else has always been around (for instance, biochemical pathways, DNA and RNA machinery, or any biological process really).

This question really is more for religious people to answer. I'm sure I will not find a single satisfactory answer to this question.
