Yes that was St. Francis of Assisi. Always preach the Gospel. If necessary use words.

And sometimes we try too hard and get ahead of God. I've wanted to share at times with people and heard God tell me it wasn't the time to just keep my mouth shut.

All we can do is plant the seed. Let others water and the Holy Spirit will convict and bring to repentance. Praise God we can at least have a small part, agreed? I am afraid I make the mistake of being logical and expecting that to impress people, but I find it does not seem to help too many people. I love the logic, however, and keep hoping and praying someone will cross my path someday who will be convinced to be saved because they first were attracted to the logical answers available from what I have been taught. I think logic is the seed I have to offer--logical answers from the Bible to life's most baffling important basic questions. .

If a used car sales man sells a car with a the old strong arm, the customer will never like the car and won't keep it very long. If you come to my door and try to , "Save my soul," You will offend me. As soon as you open your mouth and start to say anything about God, You are telling me that you have judged me, only God can judge me and not YOU! I am a Roman Catholic but I have JWs, Mormons, and Baptists trying all of he time. The next time a Baptist tries to convert you ask him if he believes once in grace always in grace. If he gives you an honest answer he will say yes. You should say then, "Help me to understand, are you saying that if you are a 18 year old and accept Jesus as your savior and then when you are 25 You rape a Nun, kill a minister and sexually molest the minister's three small children that God is going to ask you in to his Kingdom, but if you believe that once saved always saved and he doesn't even have to ask for forgiveness? I don't think that I want anything to do with your beliefs, But I will be glad to take you to mass with me on Sunday. They will start to leave you alone.

I am not a Christian, but then I think you are your own enemy when you tried to convert people. Most Christians will try based on words and no actual action. In fact, some uses intimidation and smearing of others in bid to convert, which I personally felt distasteful.

We don't convert people, that would be appealing to their minds. Faith cometh by hearing the word of God.

The Chosen will respond.

Everyone should know you're a Christian. The way you live your life should be a witness. Some will come to you and ask questions. Some to make fun. In my long life , many who have laughed at me are not only saved , but bare fruit.

So forget about conversion , those that are the chosen will come your way if you pray to be used.

God Bless you.

Yes, you are. I think the idea was to bring the story of Jesus to everybody, but many Christians think that if I hear the sopel one more time, I'll convert. 6513765 times didn't work, but one more will be the one. Half of Christianity's bad name is the televangelists, the preachers that they broadcast every Sunday morning and that horrid knock too early on a weekend morning.

It is simply outrageous, intrusive and arrogant to try to convert people. It simply doesn't make any sense.
If you use religious logic, why did God create so many different people with different religions?
It is simply revolting to think that you can walk into someone's life and try to change their values and beliefs.
For what?

a million. sure, yet you are able to be modest round them (NO premarital sex, intimacy etc). attempting now to not be on my own/flirty to boot. After that, use your discretion/behave properly. 2. that is difficult. My "courting" is this: I meet a cool Muslim guy, get to understand their family members through Muslim activities. Then I ask him to study with me or flow for espresso. We walk and talk (out in public, in no way on my own). We flow to the park, each now and then carry family members. talk on telephone/internet. No actual stuff. in case you ever flow previous kissing (that you mustn't even do) then there'll be ALOT of gossip about you contained locally (plus it truly is haram...) 3. music is all effective once you've reliable intentions & it would not make you do undesirable issues. that is as a lot as your discretion & varies from human being to human being. i recognize music in my opinion besides the undeniable fact that it may no longer distract you from polishing off your Islamic responsibilities. 4. Yeah, why no longer? do exactly not do something haram (kissing adult males, displaying too a lot epidermis etc). 5. that is likewise smooth. maximum will immediately say you are able to hide each little thing yet your face yet contained in the Quran it in reality says to be modest. Implied meaning & custom let us know that modesty ability protecting legs, hands, chest (& hair). Hair could be lined even as praying inspite of the truth that (for females individuals). i imagine that this comes right down to common experience inspite of the truth that. Do what you've faith is discreet & mandated. we truly are in no more suitable a function to outline the Quran's meaning than you. examine the verse your self (diff. translations too!) & see what you imagine. (it truly is 24:30 i imagine). after all, i don't think of the completed gown galabia is needed. Islam is meant to be ordinary, no longer confusing. makeup is likewise a own decision. Kohl (arab eyeliner) is inspired for adult males & women individuals yet caking on too a lot makeup to attraction to interest isn't inspired. organic is more suitable suitable in my view besides. yet rings/makeup isn't explicitly reported. reliable luck! You look exemplary, hun. Peace!

People need help to live in this life not in your stinking afterlife. But you can't even do that can you? You can't help any one. That's because you don't want to. Not even Mother Theresa was prepared to help, just to comfort. Enjoy your shrivelled existence.
