Have you ever been mad at God? Do you feel that your anger was justified? Is anger that is directed at God ever justified?

17 yrs ago I was pissed off at God. I left the Catholic Church for 15 yrs. I literally told God to go to hell. Long story short, I am reborn and loving life and God!

God created us, so He completely understands anger. He even said He is a jealous God and a few times the Bible talks about His wrath. Which is greater than anger. Whether my anger is justified, I'm sure some of it is and some of it isn't. But only God can tell me. I've asked for forgiveness and will spend the rest of my life proving to Him my sorrow for my wrongs.

Yes I have, and that is when I have lost sight of who He really is. I am sometimes guilty of questioning my faith and when I do that, my heart is focused on the situation and not on God and what I know He can do. There have been many times that I have been angry and confused about why something was going the way it was going, but in the end I realized that God has a greater plan for my life and I may not understand why I'm going through, but He does. He already has a way of escape for me. Only God knows what He has in store for us and even though it might now feel good to go through at the time, the payoff in the end is worth the pain at the time.

I hope that makes sense.

I think we've all been mad at God and rebelled against Him at some time. It's our nature. Like little children who tell their parents, "I hate you!" when they disagree with their decisions. God's way is hard sometimes, and He asks us to walk with Him by faith- He doesn't explain everything. Is it justified? No. But He forgives us, just like the parent forgives the child for his outburst.

When I was young I went through a time of being angry at God, due to my lack of understanding. God obviously understood because He pulled me back to him a few months before He knew I would need His comfort.

Not really, the way i think is that she/he has our basic future set out for us but he/she has better things to do then control our every movement. So either it happned for a reason or it was at least partially my fault so theres no reason to be angry is there?

Ask Job, he maintained his innocence and God hammered him for thinking he merited God's grace.

I have never been mad at any god. I usually am a rational person, and rational people do not get mad at imaginary beings.
