I have seen many people on here asking about Adam and Eve's race and I will answer their question.

They were White. Plain and simple. the Hebrew word that is translated as "Man" is "Adam" (or Awdawm) and means "to blush or turn rosy, or to have a ruddy complexion", so the Ancient Hebrew very clearly states that Adam was a White Man.

1 Samuel 16:12
"So he sent and had him brought in. He was ruddy, with a fine appearance and handsome features. Then the LORD said, "Rise and anoint him; he is the one."

1 Samuel 17:41-43
"Meanwhile, the Philistine, with his shield bearer in front of him, kept coming closer to David. He looked David over and saw that he was only a boy, ruddy and handsome, and he despised him. He said to David, "Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?" And the Philistine cursed David by his gods."

Lamentations 4:7
"Their princes were brighter than snow
and whiter than milk,
their bodies more ruddy than rubies,
their appearance like sapphires."

As parents hate the bad things that their children do, they still love their children. Parents may be angry, but do forgive. God treats us the same. He has set rules for our behavior, etc; and when we break these rules, we lose fellowship with him. BUT, we need only ask for his forgiveness, and turn away from the behavior, and he quickly forgives us. Isn't this easy to understand ?

Your life is dedicated to god,you obey all of his orders, you don't do anything to make him angry, how are you supposed to love someone who doesn't believe that god exists.(like a friend of yours, you like him very much and somebody hates him very much, you won't be able to love your friend's enemy.)

I'm just curious. As a Christian, I feel like the world is getting worse and worse and the conditions are right for Jesus' second coming. And the world needs our help. What do you think?

what ~earthly~ legal contracts other people enter into? When Adam and Steve make a legal contract (marriage) it has no bearing on your ~Christian~ marriage ritual for yourself and like-minded spouse and family and priest, et cetera ... correct?

I mean Christians are always quick to point out how God's law trumps man's law. So then why do you interfere with man's law at all, when man's law is made for the rest of us who don't believe as you do? Why won't you let God administer His own laws?

2 kings 23:34-35

"34 Pharaoh Neco made Eliakim son of Josiah king in place of his father Josiah and changed Eliakim's name to Jehoiakim. But he took Jehoahaz and carried him off to Egypt, and there he died. 35 Jehoiakim paid Pharaoh Neco the silver and gold he demanded. In order to do so, he taxed the land and exacted the silver and gold from the people of the land according to their assessments."

How did Jehoiakim (Eliakim) arrive to the reign?

It doesn't offer a sufficient substitute for what most people seem to get from religion - AN EXCUSE TO STAY IMMATURE.

For example, Christianity allows for a person to be illogical, to be cowardly, irresponsible, weak, evil, in a word to be FLAWED, with no real repercussions, so long as they ask for forgiveness. In any other context, telling someone it's okay to keep making mistakes as long they say they are sorry would be a recipe for disaster. It wouldn't work in the workplace, in a relationship, in the eyes of the law, or in parenting. About the only place it would work, briefly, is in CHILDHOOD.

Atheism requires a tremendous amount of logic, courage, responsibility, and strength from within - qualities of maturity that many adults lack.

Christians have given themselves a pass to remain immature their entire lives because they believe they become adults in the NEXT life. Imagine a world where children never grew up and then look around.

We aren't mature enough for atheism.

Yet.
