We are to respect them as human beings, and the basic rights that all humans should enjoy.
But that shouldn't confuse itself with the fact that we need not respect beliefs. Anyone's opinion, be it on politics, Britneys Spears or God, deserves to be challenged. Religious opinions should not receive a "get of of jail free" card.
To paraphase Voltaire, I disagree with your inane beliefs, but I will fight as I can to allow you to hold them and enjoy the freedoms of life.

It depends on what your definition of a non-believer is. According to the Christians since I don't believe in their God I am a non-believer. So, we'll just say for the hell of it that I am. I still love everyone..believers...nons...whatever. blessed be.

Supposed to...? No. We don't have a magic book telling us to love everyone, equally. Faith usually doesn't enter the equation, providing it's balanced with respect.
I tend to take a "satanic" view on love. I love who I choose to love, and maintain a degree of apathy to the rest. Loving everyone, enemy as well as friend, cheapens love overall.

Love is too strong a word (and kind of ironic to use here on this rather intolerant forum).
But yes, different communities should TOLERATE each other.
Cheers.

I dunno, I guess I think we should all get along... because... well, we're all humans, and it's not like being mean to each other is going to help our situation any. Maybe love is too strong of a word for the world.
I think "be tolerant" is something we can all strive for.

I love plenty of believers. My mother, father, sisters, brothers, and spouse, to name a few.

Love is therapeutic in life in general and does not require me to believe in you particular God
