I'm just curious. As a Christian, I feel like the world is getting worse and worse and the conditions are right for Jesus' second coming. And the world needs our help. What do you think?

Of course we need God's help, but we have to step up and be His servants.

And I know we have a wonderful earth full of God's beautiful creation, but I just think that the sin is out of control, thanks to Satan's works.

I feel it is an awesome intense beautiful incomprehensible wonder!
The human part is less awe inspiring I must say, but I think we as a species are going from the Fools to the Masters (this is a concept that may need some explaining to not be misunderstood) We could be the first (not only) species to "decide" to care about all life and each other, I think that is cool...we must not give up......
"The universe is unfolding as it should"
The natural world is suffering though and this needs attention.

lol. You know thats really funny. I think the world is getting better.
Its getting more tolerant and understanding. Education is at an all time high. Acceptance of other people is increasing.
This is an amazing time. In the past, religion has always been used to encourage hatred and anger and violence. Bush is using it now to forward his own agenda.
The militant Muslims used it to forward theirs at 9/11.
But look at the people. The people are in an uproar. They are angry over the things that are happening.
Its getting better, not worse. Until religion has a hand in it.
We are even becoming more and more aware of the problems that we're causing our environment and beginning work to fix it.
Christians are always so negative. I don't know how you can live life like that.

Yes, we are definately deep in the Lord's Day (the end times) or whatever you want to call it. Soon, God will put it into the minds of all the world's governments to close the false religions. What a sad state of being for those who rested and did not seek God's will diligently for themselves. So much deception out there. And all Satan wants is to have all of us destroyed.

i dont think its neccesarily getting better or worse. there are certain aspects that are progressing and others that need work, but the world and everything is constantly changing. still, if you do indeed think the world is getting worse you should try and make things better. all the little things do count. as for jesus coming back, i wouldn't count on it. but i am not a beliver so maybe that is just a biased opinion.

The world has been on a steady decline since the dawn of human civilization.
If only most people would stop waiting for "the second coming" and actually do something constructive to better our world, we might see its condition improve.

About the world getting worse and worse, yes that is plain to seeand it also means that we are truly deep in the time of the end of this system of thingswhere God will step in and change the way things are done, even though the world does need our help they don't want it, you there is a saying that this reminds me of you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink it!

I think the world has always been bad off, and the only reason it seems so bad now is because the media makes it so much easier for us to see how bad it is. I don't believe your Jesus will be coming back. We need to fix this mess on our own.

I'm an atheist and I think the world is getting worse. If nothing else, at lease in terms of the environment and the depletion of our natural resources.
