If so why doesn't any one else hear God now a days?
How could I answer these questions?
Wouldn't they, “the prophets of old” be classed as insane by a modern day physiologist?
Are these men of old (by today’s definition), just insane people with only their insanity, or distorted reality, the bases of the bible?
Could "biblical", prophecies the product of classical insanity?

Honestly Robert, I think it's the Atheists with Fundamentalist Religious backgrounds that have a deep hatred for the follies of religion. I think we know what I am talking about. To answer your question, it is those who understand non-religion. Does this qualify as a valid answer?

If you do not believe in God...what's your story on how you got this existence? Where will go after you don't exist? What comforts your life, when you don’t believe in the Lord?

I'm sorry, but what if it were part of my religion to carry a gun? A weapon is a weapon, no matter what its symbolism. Whats stopping someone from pulling it out in a fight? There should be no exceptions!

IF you got a group of 12 Atheists VS a group of 12 Muslims in a discussion forum where they have to talk about the truth about life to thechristans , jews , and any other religious group.

who ever wins in the discussion forum gets to take money from all of the other religion groups money and can do what they want to them.

who do you think will win in the argument in terms of telling the true about life..

Atheists use logic and reason

Muslims use peace and teachings

Plz tell me why you think one of them should win and the other one should not win

Also tell me what you think the group you believe would win would do with them money and to the people the money came from

I believe deeply in God, and believe that He is the redeemer, the only one capable of fixing this out of control world that is fast going to hell in a handbasket. Where not one will slip through the cracks under His watch. However, and I do not speak for all Christians, religions, etc., do not some people use Him as a convenient reason to disengage themselves from becoming part of the solution until He does take control? Just a thought.

against the gods of wood and stone?

Is it not strange that after he had appeared to his chosen people, delivered them from slavery, feed them by miracles, opened the sea for a path, led them by cloud and fire, and overthrown their pursuers, they still preferred a calf of their own making?" (Exod. 32:18) "...a God who gave his entire time for 40 years to the work of converting three millions of people, and succeeded in getting only two men, and not a single woman, decent enough to enter the promised land?" And it was telling you to do things that you thought were questionable or didn't make sense (like being told to make a giant boat or go lead thousands of slaves into the desert), would you listen and do it, or would you seek psychiatric help through medication/councilling first?

Do you think we can all get along here, if we all would offer a prayer, that God would ,"Open the eyes of their hearts", and that the Holy Spirit would fill their hearts with a Love, like that which they have never felt... pray very hard for "compassion and understanding", of one-another...
So that people will stop being "Hurt, or Mis-treated" here on YAHOO! ANSWERS, for our Beliefs?".
Who will pray with me that we can all get along and teach one-another, without "hurtful, spiteful", words?
And Rather use words that "Enlighten, Lift eachother up, and make others feel good". Rather than hurtling insults.
I know this is sort of a lengthy question, but I feel like..."Many of us who believe, and want to try and share our beliefs, without cramming it down anothers throat", try to do or say something that is "good", and we get "trampled" on by those who are non-believers, or just not sure what they believe.
If we believers come together in a prayer, God will ANSWER, on YAHOO! ANSWERS.

One year about 4 years ago there was this huge trend of folks going on the Atkins diet and I was seeing some tremendous results! I tried it and lost 23 pounds just in my very first month and then my body adjusted and I gained a lot of it back. Now you almost don't hear about it anymore. Hmm. The big thing on it was controlling those carbs and heavy starches. I wonder of the carbs and starches are really that bad? Does anyone know for shure and why?

I hear people call themselves Randians and swear by her novels, as though this author had been born with the peculiar hability of never making mistakes. I hear people swear that all the problems society has can be solved by a perfect free market, even though such a system is most likely politically unfeasible. Others insist technology can only be good, as it leads to better production, despite science that demonstrates the unsustainability of present-day consummerism.

it is written by the Scriptures that the Jews will mourn the One forsaken; and that, this is but a phase of the Ashkenazie and in the rapture of the wonder of the year 3000, the world shall be in Christian Unity.
islam is not a religion -- it has no plan for the rapture of man -- it is only Death and Destruction.
