Did you know that the human embryo (where the stem cells come from) are only three days old and have about 150 cells in the them, called a blastocyst. Compare that to a fly, that has 100,000 cells in their brains. The blastocysts don't have brains or even neurons.

The arguement is that these blastocysts are potential human beings. But everytime to wipe your nose you are killing potential human beings, you are killing cells. How is this any different? Or what about when someone dies, and we "harvest" the organs to help others.

Stem cell research can save MILLIONS of lives and end alot of suffering on this planet. How can SAVING lives be so bad?

how to trust God more for love?

There's a guy I really like a lot. There are mixed signals coming from him. I am not sure if they are mixed signals or just my own wistful interpretation of the things he do. I want to give up on him because I don't think we will ever be together and I don't think destiny is on my side anymore. I want to believe more strongly that God has someone else for me and it is part of his plan that we aren't together. I just want to stop thinking about him and sleep soundly through the night without waking up at 5am thinking about him. I prayed very very hard for him for a few months already but I think ultimately it came to nothing and God just does not want us to be together. The more I pray, the more hopeful I become. And this is bad because I want to forget about him now and all this hope built up in me is bad. I still dream that I still have a chance but I guess not. I want to trust God's plans fo rme more. Valentines' is coming up and it makes me feel worse. Advice please? what do I do?

There is an OT verse that mentiones that the presense of God was not among the Israelites as He had been?

This OT testament scripture that the Lord had withdrawn His usually presence had was being seen less and less among the Israelites? Does anyone know the exact location? I want to say it is in either 1 or 2 Kings or 1 or 2 Chronicles.

Christianity?

I've noticed here that in Yahoo Answers, people say "Christians," but which denomination do they refer to?
I am a Catholic Christian, and I am not a creationist, I don't think that Paganism = Satanism, I am not a literalist, I do not think that if you are not Christian then you are going to Hell. Does this make me less of a Christian BECAUSE I am Catholic? Or are those on Yahoo making hasty generalizations? I don't know.

Do stars have souls?

What about galaxies or planets? Or any other life form in this universe? What about other life on this planet, from all the animal and plant life. All things in this universe, from stars to people all are born, live and then die. Humans only live for an average of 80 years and even the shortest lived stars live for millions.

Why don't Black people make up their own GOD religion.....?

Whites have Jesus.
Arabs have Muhammad.
Asians have Buddha.
Indians have Krishna.

Why don't blacks come up with their own Godly leader instead of following everyone else’s? Are black people too afraid to do something for themselves or was Elijah Mohamed their Godly leader?

This is not a question to stir up trouble. Actually I'm trying to stir up thought after all, this is BLACK HISTORY MONTH. What do you think about this topic? I'd love to know.
