Yes actually, plain guy doing all he could to help the poor, widows, and homeless. Preaching the gospel where ever he could to people willing to listen, being neither rich or poor hinmself and working to support himself, not trying to make a big name and encouraging people to be all they can be.
He is alive inside of me actually doing good things.

HE IS RISEN! And no I do not think He would be living my life as I live it now... why? because He would still be perfect, even today, and I am a sinner like any other average person. He is sinless. I am living my life the best I possibly can as a human. I have a long way to go... but I have come a long way from where I started!

What do you mean IF Jesus were alive. He is alive and He is living His life through me. Yes, I know I'm human and not perfect, but He is. God sees Him in me and forgives me for what I do which isn't right in His eyes as I repent whatever that is. Because Jesus lives I know I am forgiven and I trust Him to keep me from doing wrong. I ask Him to forgive me when I fail to live His life. I trust in Him in all things. Be assured, Jesus lives. Even now.

No. He was a carpenter. I'm not much of one.
Yes in that I live a poor simple life and haven't a place to call my own. Jesus saved people from all kinds of backgrounds. He is no respector of persons. I try to see them through His eyes but He was perfect and I'm not and He could see their hearts and I can't and He had all the love in the world to spare and I have to spend time with Him to have more love.
I avoid going places that He would not go (brothels, gay bars, bath houses, clubs, dance halls, etc.) and doing things He would not do like drugs, rock music, getting drunk, dressing indecently, etc. He lets me know by dealing with my heart and the written Word of God how to be a living epistle, known and read of all men. We are to have chaste conversation (lifestyle) just as He did. Jesus was God incarnate though and I'm still learning to walk after the spirit. When He touched the unclean, they became clean. When we contact them, we have to be careful we are not tempted ourselves and full of the Spirit to deal with the evil forces and to have the discernment needed.
Hope this helps. E-mail if you have more questions.

He wouldn't be living my life, at least not completely. I am human and do sin. He was perfect as a human. I need to try to live like He did, not the other way. If I were to think I was to be modeled after, I would be sitting myself up equal to God, which is blasphemy.

Jesus is alive today. He's resurrected, haven't you heard?
He is living in us. I could site several verses to show that fact. But I think that you mean 'if he were here to see.'
If so, I could do much better with Him around. That would mean that we had many events occur. But I am otherwise a sinner just like anyone.

That's a very sobering question. In all honesty, I'd say NO. He'd be living a much purer life than me. I struggle with things on a daily basis that I shouldn't do or say. I can, however rejoice in the fact that while I'm perhaps not where I aught to be, I'm NOT where I USED to be either! Hallelujah!!!

Jesus Christ lives in every one who beleives Jesus is there personal lord and saviour. The Bible also says that Jesus Christ has authority over the flesh. So I don't have any excuses for what I do with my flesh.

Jesus told the man who was cleansed from demons to go "that" village and preach there in his own way.God made us all different so we all have a different way to spread the gospel.
